    Cleaner Johannesburg (HC)

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • To ensure that the Company’s and Statutory regulations regarding cleanliness are complied with within all tasks undertaken.
    •  Responsible for the cleanliness of the scullery.
    •  Ensure hygiene standards, health and safety standards are met at all times.
    •  To maintain the Company’s standard of hygiene and cleanliness of all crockery, cutlery, glassware, kitchen and dining room utensils.
    •  To ensure removal of refuse from scullery area.
    •  To assist in other areas of the unit when required and to attend to all reasonable requests made by management.
    •  Fridges in the walk-in cold rooms must be cleaned. 
    •  No cleaning agents must be left in public areas.
    •  Safety signs/boards must be placed in areas where cleaning is in progress.
    •  Ensure that the outside area of the store is clean and inviting at all times.
    •  The back of the store must be clean and tidy at all times, and must comply with health regulations.
    •  The cleaner must assist in various other areas in the unit when it is not busy.
    •  Clean food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas.
    •  Clean walls and windows. 
    •  Clean and disinfect laundry, kitchen, toilet and bathroom fixtures
    •  May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside scope of responsibilities

    Creditors Clerk (3 Months contract) - JHB

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Obtain accurate supplier statements 
    • Accurately prepare reconciliations within the set deadline as per Vendor account allocations 
    • Resolve reconciling items between AX amount and supplier statement amount to ensure accurate payment is effected 
    • Investigate all items in AX for payment. E.g. Incorrect invoice numbers/amounts, apply logic using dates/ amounts/unit names/unit purposes, etc 
    • Follow up continuously on outstanding invoices/statements – phone suppliers and units 
    • Invoices processed after cut off to be accurately ticked and included in payment journal to agree with supplier statement for a specific period 
    • Ensure adherence to POD and Claims for credit process as prescribed 
    • Ensure that all payment journals are reported as ready prior to being handed over to the Creditors Supervisor for auditing 
    • Reconciliations to be submitted for auditing 5 days prior to agreed payment date as per the master data list in Axapta 
    • Accurately prepare payment journals for payment 
    • Effectively manage accounts to prevent accounts from being placed on stop supply. Minimize items exceeding agreed payment terms. Retain evidence of resolution sent to unit/Regional Financial Manager 
    • Actively manage the Ax Vendor Ageing report to ensure no balances are older than the prescribed terms and conditions agreed to on the relevant deal sheets 
    • Send out remittances and proof of payment to suppliers within 24 hours of payment being released from the bank 
    • Accurately audit banking details for each vendor prior to being loaded on the bank by bank clerk. Tick bank account used, branch code and amount against a valid bank confirmation letter. Sign off and date as evidence of review 
    • Handle all creditors related queries 
    • Ensure proper filing of all audit reports, proof of payments and remittances for each vendor reconciliation 
    • Ensure proper filing of all bank confirmation letters from suppliers loaded on the bank 
    • Keep updated records of all supplier deal sheets on file

    Ward Hostess Johannesburg (HC)

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Ensure that patients have ice water at all times
    • Urns to be full at all times and turned on
    • Serve patients with tea/coffee and alternative snacks
    • Menu cards to be filled in correctly with choice of patient
    • Menu cards to be returned to kitchen as soon as possible
    • Diet list to be updated before meals
    • Diet alterations should be brought to attention immediately
    • Trolley’s to be taken from kitchen to wards, orderly and returned after serving patients with meals
    • Check trays are complete before placing in trolley and before setting in front of patient. Incomplete trays are unacceptable!
    • Patients meals are served on trays but trays are to be removed immediately after patient has eaten
    • Cutlery must be washed after every meal. Strict controls to be kept by ward hostess
    • Cutlery always served in cutlery bags
    • You are responsible for cutlery used in the ward & this is to be locked away when not in use. The cutlery is your own responsibility
    • The ward kitchen must be neat and tidy at all times. No trays are to be left in ward kitchen after meal has been eaten - bring immediately to fedics kitchen
    • Ward hostess’ are to be neat, clean & tidy at all times. Must always be in full uniform and up to fedics standard
    • Private patients will receive in addition: o the morning news paper of their choice o refreshment for direct family member visiting o receive Healthwise chocolate with evening tea or coffee o be able to order meal from a la carte menu

    • Undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance Tasks allocated by the Mechanical Services Team leader or Foreman.
    • Undertake Re-active Maintenance Tasks and repairs allocated by the Mechanical Services Team leader or Foreman.
    • Ensure that best operating practice is applied when undertaking maintenance tasks/ repairs.
    • All maintenance tasks must be checked and signed off with the team leader to ensure that the work has been executed at the required standards.
    • Provide a list of required materials to Mechanical services team leader or foreman to enable successful execution of maintenance tasks.
    • i.e Name, date, time, spares used or drawn from stores for that particular asset.
    • To submit the planned preventative maintenance weekly to the mechanical services team leader
    • Assist in keeping workshop and plant rooms’ tidy and presentable at all times

    Helpdesk Call Response

    • Undertake reactive maintenance tasks allocated by helpdesk and mechanical team leader or foreman.
    • Measurement of allocated tasks in terms of the response and restore times.
    • Complete the job cards correctly ie, Name, date, time, spares used or drawn from stores for that particular asset.
    • To submit the job cards daily to the mechanical services team leader
    • To inform helpdesk to close call on completion
    • House-keeping on completion of work
    • All tasks undertaken in accordance with applicable IMS

    Skills and Competencies    

    • Safety conscious
    • Good knowledge of Refrigeration & air-conditioning unit’s repairs and maintenance.
    • Knowledge of tools and materials used in the assigned area of responsibility.
    • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
    • Knowledge of large office block air-conditioning, cooling towers, pumps, motors, building management systems, Johnson controllers and variable speed drives, Extractor fans etc.
    • Practical skills on air-conditioning equipment.
    • Understanding of maintenance programs for air-conditioning systems.
    • Understanding of electrical control systems and able to fault on the system
    • To work under pressure.
    • Good communication and Peoples Skills.
    • Ability to manage artisan aids on daily bases.
    • Excellent customer relation skills.
    • Read, write & speak English

    • 2-3 years’ experience in similar environment
