MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The Pricing Administrator is responsible to maintain proper controls over the integrity and security of all pricing and contract information for all Medtronic business units for South Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa. The role involves the creation, maintenance and obsolescence of pricing data in the Vendavo and SAP pricing platforms, ensuring the invoicing system is fed with correct and on time pricing data. The role will provide price lists and reports to support local and regional pricing analysts, business unit coordinators, customer service and finance personnel. MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide business support in the form of set up and maintenance of all pricing in Vendavo and SAP platforms
- Resolve pricing data related issues required to release orders that are incorrectly priced as well as customer disputed invoices due to price discrepancies
- Issue pricing data extracts and reports for both business partners and for audit purposes
- Measure and report on the adherence to the department’s service level agreement with internal customers - sales / marketing / customer care - and external customers – MediKredit / Order Logistics / key hospital groups
- Daily maintenance of excel based master price file
- Set up and maintain local processes / procedures / tools necessary for creating and maintaining high quality of pricing data
- Review existing pricing processes and make recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy, while adhering to company-wide vision and pricing strategies
- Communicate price changes to all customers based on their requirements, including electronic price files
- Maintain strong working relationship with the EMEA pricing administration team in Poland
- Ensure that all changes to prices are authorized in accordance with price controls and policy
- Work with finance and master data team to ensure new accounts are set up correctly according to price file requirements
- Maintain NAPPI code database in SAP working with master data team
- Regularly communicate with country and regional contacts for any process related information/changes
- Support annual pricing changes
- Assist or lead projects impacting pricing master data
- Perform other related duties as assigned
