• We are looking for a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer who is able to work independently in the Structural Engineering field. This individual plans, organizes, and controls complex projects, and makes recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems. They are able to prepare and present technical reports and demonstrate extensive competency and experience in supporting the delivery of a range of projects of varying scale. This includes leadership exposure across people, project, client, and technical domains.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Design and manage structural engineering projects in a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering environment.

• Delivery of projects following a modern BIM workflow; operate Revit models and cloud base platforms.

Qualifications

• Bsc Eng/BEng/BSc (Hons) in Structural Engineering. MEng/MSc of advantageous.
• 7 or more years’ experience mainly in structural engineering
• Registered as PrEng with ECSA
• Civil engineering experience advantageous.
• Project Management experience advantageous.

Key Role:

• The incumbent in this position will fulfil the role of an Assistant Consultant in the Geochem Team and will be focused on contaminated land and other projects related to geochemistry.

Responsibilities

• The Discipline Lead: Geometrics leads day-to-day technical matters associated with the geometrics discipline within Transport & Infrastructure Sector, and provides support to the Sector Lead across Africa.
