    Workshop Administration Clerk (Middelburg)

    Description

    • Assist with workshop administration and communication

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 6 months relevant experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Create job cards.
    • Create pro-forma invoices for job cards.
    • Create orders of external vendors on job cards.
    • Deposit daily bank.
    • Ensure the risk file (GMR) is up to date and all forms are signed off.
    • Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external clients and promptly respond to/resolve client queries.

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES

    Requirements
    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    Web Developer (Centurion)

    Description

    • This role is responsible for designing and implementing robust solutions using .NET Core (C#) and AngularJS, integrating visually engaging user interfaces, and ensuring efficient and secure database management. Understanding the business processes and providing a sufficient solution to solve the expected outcomes. 

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Relevant certifications, such as .NET Core (C#), AWS Certifications, AngularJS, JavaScript, Typescript, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
    • 5 years' experience as a programmer or developer, preferably in a FinTech environment.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    IT Operations - Run Support

    • Actively monitor, support, and troubleshoot application issues to ensure minimal disruption to services, adhering to agreed SLAs and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) ratings.
    • Manage high-priority incidents (P1 calls), ensuring quick escalation and resolution to minimise downtime.
    • Ensure all application integrations comply with AFGRI’s integration policies and proactively identify integration opportunities.
    • Follow the Change Control process to maintain system stability and secure modifications across production environments.

    IT Operations - Enhancements

    • Implement new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business needs and adding value to operations.
    • Actively contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce complexity.
    • Work closely with designers and other developers to create responsive, high-performing web applications while participating in code reviews to uphold coding standards.

    Governance, Risk and Compliance

    • Contribute to the timely identification, reporting, and remediation of risks, ensuring they are incorporated into relevant risk registers.
    • Regularly assess and enforce compliance with defined standards and policies, addressing non-compliance through continuous process improvements.
    • Accurately manage elevated rights and access controls across relevant platforms to uphold security and governance protocols.

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

    • Proficient in coding languages such as C#, .NET, AngularJS, Angular, and JavaScript.
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, architecture, and integration solutions.
    • Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS, including EKS, ECR, CodeBuild, etc.).
    • Experience in Agile development environments and working with version control systems like Git.
