    Sales Analyst

    • A venturesome wealth and asset management firm is looking for a Sales Analyst within the Finance Ops team. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and analytical.
    • The firm places emphasis on building amiable, genuine client connections and delivering superior investment methodology. Your role in their mission is the management, optimization, and accurate reporting of all Revenue and Sales related activities.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    • Manage the group-wide function for commission-related tasks
    • Daily operational and financial management
    • Month-end operations
    • Take an active role in checking the workflows and system changes and play a further role to guide future Software system updates and improvements.
    • Managing and responding to internal and external partnership management across the group.
    • Identifying opportunities for new products and revenue streams
    • Interacting with advisors and IFAs

    • Excellent proficiency in Excel and Outlook
    • Alternatively, the candidate can be an AGA (SA) or CIMA candidate

    Junior Accountant

    Introduction

    • We’re seeking a young and ambitious Junior Accountant at a large and established construction and property development company based in Midrand that has seen exciting growth opportunities in the Property Development Sector. 
    • This role is a great opportunity for a qualified or soon to be Professional Accountant (SA) or AGA (SA) to further gain commercial experience with strong guidance and mentorship from a senior management team.
    • The candidate will gain extensive exposure to the big picture of the business as a whole and will be responsible for the crucial day-to-day support of the Finance team and Department.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Bookkeeping function, from General Ledger to Trial Balance level and ensure that team members complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Monthly management reporting to the executive team and assisting in preparation and feedback on variance analysis.
    • Liaising with auditors, accountants, suppliers.
    • Assist with preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs.
    • Monthly cash flow certificate distribution and projection
    • Process journal entries, payments - supplier/refunds/ad hoc and follow up on payment/discrepancies 
    • Process, managing and follow up on invoices
    • Ensuring legislation is followed regarding VAT, PAYE and Income Tax
    • Ensuring the VAT201 and EMP201 reconciliations and returns are correctly submitted by the team.  

    Desired Qualifications and Experience

    • Eligible / Registered Professional Accountant (SA) preferred
    • As a minimum candidates should have completed 3 years of SAIPA or SAICA articles
    • 0-3 years post articles commerce Accounting experience (required)
    • Experience in the construction, engineering or property development industry would be beneficial

    • Previous experience in high net worth client interaction (essential),  Investment Funds/Management, Sales, Financial Services, Collective Investment Schemes (CIS), JSE and equities are highly desirable
