Revenue Accountant at Snatch.work

• A venturesome wealth and asset management firm is looking for a Revenue Accountant within the Finance Ops team. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and analytical.
• The firm places emphasis on building amiable, genuine client connections and delivering superior investment methodology. Your role in their mission is the management, optimization, and accurate reporting of all Revenue and Sales related activities.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Manage the group-wide function for commission-related tasks
• Daily operational and financial management
• Month-end operations
• Take an active role in checking the workflows and system changes and play a further role to guide future Software system updates and improvements.
• Managing and responding to internal and external partnership management across the group.
• Identifying opportunities for new products and revenue streams
• Interacting with advisors and IFAs
• Taking an active role in understanding contracts and commission splits and managing partnership and stakeholder relationships within the commercial boundaries set by contracts.
• Monitoring and correcting production errors
• Keeping track of team progress and meeting deadlines
• Post-month-end balancing and reconciliation
• System amendments for book buying and taking on new processes
• Problem-solving and auditing.
• Leading a small team of 2-4 people

What you’ll need:

• BCom or Bachelor’s degree, preferably a financial stream 
• 3+ years of experience in the financial planning industry (beneficial)
• Excellent proficiency in Excel and Outlook
• Alternatively, the candidate can be an AGA (SA) or CIMA candidate
