    NOC Operator

    Our client in the Northen Suburbs of Cape Town is looking to employ a eager to learn  and forward thinking NOC Operator.

    The successful candidate will be part of a team in a highly pressured environment. We encourage our team members to take ownership of their responsibilities.  

    Core Ouputs:

    • Operation of network and system monitoring systems for clients
    • Act on alarms and other associated commands or messages displayed on monitors / displays
    • Perform system administration tasks and maintain the database of monitored objects
    • Health checks and compilation of reports
    • Develop an awareness of a wide spectrum of IT technologies
    • Improvements to health checks made on an ongoing basis
    • Continuously monitoring of client's infrastructure, according to SLA
    • Timeously responding to exceptions according to SLA.
    • Administration maintained according to client SLA
    • Continuously updating client and engineer of changes made (via email)
    • Daily/Weekly/Monthly QA reports to be completed
    • Standard report generated on request
    • Stress report generated on a monthly basis
    • Unit report generated on a monthly basis
    • Patch and/or hot fix release testing completed
    • New and current systems testing compared
    • RT system to be maintained

    Essential requirements are:

    • Grade 12
    • A+ and N+ or similar IT related qualification
    • Basic understanding of hardware, operating systems (Linux or Windows), applications and networking
    • Basic systems administration tasks
    • Experience in the installation and set-up of networks, servers or workstations will be an advantage
    • Advanced Excel and Word skills

    UI/UX Designer

    You will be working on a combination of SAAS products; customer facing apps, as well as client facing web-based portals, so knowledge of mobile app user flows, best practice and both mobile and web design are crucial.

    Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Investigating user experience design requirements for the company’s suite of digital products;
    • Producing effective UX user and client flows through wireframes, user-flow diagrams and storyboards;
    • Completing high-level user and client research in order to define the best approach and flows for a range of products while also distilling research from product marketing;
    • Understanding complex situations and converting them into intuitive ideas and journeys;
    • Designing UI elements, mobile applications, web-based portals in a format that front-end developers can easily utilise and work on; and,
    • Contributing to the development and conceptualization of an evolving UI/UX design strategy for the products and company.
    • The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification (Graphic design diploma or similar) coupled with a minimum of 4 years in a UX design role for digital products or services and a minimum of 6 years experience in an area/field of design.
    • You must have a working knowledge of Sketch, InVision, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite and User-flow software of choice. Knowledge of what is great vs. good design as well as staying up to date with best of breed globally is essential.

    Desktop Support Analyst

    Our Client in the CBD is looking for a  Desktop Support Analyst. As the support analyst you will  provide desktop support and maintenance for current and new information systems. 

    • Complete IT systems support for all users from day-to-day problem resolution to end user training and document all work undertaken.  
    • Support the delivery of high-quality IT services.
    • Be willing to work After Hours on an adhoc basis and part of an On-Call Support Facility

    Minimum Requirements

    •  Candidates must have experience within a busy desktop support environment

    • Knowledge of ITIL practices would also be beneficial but not essential.

    Senior Full Stack .Net Developer

    Key Responsibilities:  

    • A talented Senior Developer with very strong .Net, ES6 Javascript, Bootstrap and CSS skills to lead Software Projects across various industry verticals. 
    • Ownership and Responsibility for the Front End and Back-End deliverables on projects. This includes responsibility for Quality (in support of Development Manager) and Timely delivery for projects (in support of Project Manager). Including: 
    • Assist in defining Coding Standards 
    • Test driven approaches 
    • Drive efficiencies across the stack 
    • Assist development guild 
    • In collaboration with the Development Manager, provide input to:  Career Planning  Hiring  Training and Personal Development  Team mentorship and morale management 
    • Assist in estimations of scoped projects, guide the discussions around sufficient requirements to support the SDLC.

    Skills: 

    • A solid understanding of .Net MVC 4+, ES6, HTML, CSS, SASS, WebPack, Bootstrap 
    • Object Oriented Programming and design 
    • Experience with Angular 4+ would be an advantage. 
    • Any experience with TDD would be an advantage. 
    • Agile / Scrum will be used as a base for the workflow. 
    • Git workflow with good code review practice. 
    • Tools: Jira, Bitbucket, Tempo plugin, Slack. 
    • Nice to have: Angular 4+, .Net Core, ES7

    Collaboration:

    • Close collaboration with the Development manager for resourcing, process implementation, quality, resource scheduling in relation to developers. 
    • Close collaboration and mentorship with Junior and Mid-level developers

    Qualifications:

    • Completed Degree in Computer Science, equivalent qualification and / or relevant experience 
    • At least 5 years of development experience with at least 1 year working experience at a senior level 
    • Experience in an Agile software development environment. 
    • Comprehensive and Holistic understanding of the full software development lifecycle 
    • Proven track record of mentorship experience 
    • Experience in defining development processes and structures 
    • A high level of attention to detail and great organisational abilities are a prerequisite to succeeding in this role
