    Account Manager

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric, Diploma, Trade/red seal or Degree.
    • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in mining operations, with at least 2-5 years in a managerial role Experience in the electronics industry/mining industry and/or with materials used in electronics manufacturing
    • Own Transport and valid driver's license
    • Willing to work overtime and travel when required.

    Responsibilities

    Account Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing mine accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the mining sector.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Ensure on-site delivery to meet SLA requirements.

    Sales Strategy and execution:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals and sales contracts to potential and existing clients.

    Customer Relations and Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
    • Conduct regular meetings with key accounts to review performance, discuss future needs and explore opportunities for collaboration.

    Technical Support and consultation:

    • Collaborate with the technical team to provide customers with expert advice and solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements in mining technology and electronics materials to offer cutting-edge solutions to customers.

    Negotiation and contract management:

    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure all contracts and agreements are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

    Sales reporting and analysis:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline status in the sales process.
    • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

    Collaboration and coordination:

    • Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
    • Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery and availability of products to meet customer demands.
    • Ensure efficient installation and repair of safety equipment so that products are functioning according to required standards.
    • Respond promptly to customer call-out requests in the event of breakdowns.
    • Effectively resolve breakdowns within required timelines (identify, analyse and find solutions to problems)
    • Project manage large and small projects according to company project management schedules and templates.
    • Feed new product design ideas or upgrades from customer to R&D team and provide feedback to customer with the R&D team's recommendations
    • Complete reporting requirements and administration timeously and accurately (COCs, invoices, PODs, procurement card slips, SLAs, SRs, time sheets etc.)

    Resource Planning:

    • Plan and coordinate the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
    • Develop and implement strategies for efficient resource utilization.
    • Ensure adequate supplies of critical materials and equipment

    Staff Management/Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage a team of Site Supervisors and Technicians.
    • Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Oversee new staff acquisition, including interviewing, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
    • Assist Human Resources with disciplinary actions and non-performance procedures

    Engineering Document Controller

    Education, experience and competencies

    • National Senior Certificate/Grade 12 and tertiary qualification in document control/records management
    • 3-5 years’ experience in documentation creation, editing, management and control
    • 1-3 years in a senior or lead role
    • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems (advantage) & Electronic/Electrical knowledge (advantage)
    • Computer literate: Microsoft Office

    Responsibilities

    • Create and update development technical and Section 21 Master files
    • Establish and maintain a document control system for all engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, datasheets, calculations, and reports.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely registration, distribution, and retrieval of documents to internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure version control and document integrity.
    • Maintain electronic document management systems (EDMS) and ensure metadata and document attributes are correctly captured.
    • Review and audit documentation for compliance with company and industry standards (e.g., ISO).
    • Archive inactive or obsolete documents and support retrieval of historical data for audits or project reviews.
    • Train and support junior document controllers on document management best practices.
    • Liaise with QA/QC and compliance teams to ensure all documentation meets audit and quality assurance standards.
    • Prepare regular reports on document control status, outstanding approvals, and document turnaround times.
    • Ensure all documentation packs are according to Booyco and ISO9001-2015 standards.
    • Maintain all product related technical documents and registers.
    • Control Engineering documentation.
    • Verify technical validity of existing product and service-related documents.
    • Update and keep record of new drawings list.
    • Develop and update all QMS related process flows.
    • Review, update and receive approvals for all related documents.
    • Generate document number according to ISO9001-2015 standards, update product index approval spreadsheet
    • Analyse and implement improvements on current product and service-related processes.
    • Update control documents monthly.
    • Compile and archive final data packs.
    • Assist with stock take, update stock take master sheet when required.

    Quality Inspector

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric or N3 minimum. N4 or higher is preferential.
    • Qualification in quality Inspections and/or control or similar (beneficial).
    • 2+ years' experience in quality inspection based on ISO9001:2015.
    • Strong knowledge of electronic components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes (beneficial).
    • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, mechanical dimension drawings.
    • Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
    • SHEQSys experience (beneficial).
    • Basic Measuring experience with verniers and multi-meters.

    Responsibilities

    Quality Inspection:

    • Perform detailed inspections of electronic / mechanical parts / components and finished products to ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
    • Utilize precision measurement tools, gauges, master samples and related equipment for thorough inspections.

    Testing and Evaluation:

    • Conduct functional and performance testing of electronic products using established protocols.
    • Evaluate test results against predefined criteria to ensure product reliability and functionality.

    Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare detailed reports and update quality records to track inspection findings and metrics.

    Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process enhancement based on inspection findings and quality data.
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

    Compliance and Standards:

    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the inspection process
    • Support audits and assessments related to quality management systems.
    • Assist in resolving quality-related issues and implementing improvement initiatives.

    Additional responsibilities:

    • Perform mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per inspection plans and Booyco drawings.
    • Control and maintain records of all measuring tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
    • Register non-conformances and maintain records from internal processes and suppliers.
    • Assist in managing overall quality issues within the SHEQ Department and participate actively in quality management processes.
    • Manage and maintain the reject quarantine area to ensure compliance with ISO standards and practices.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
    • Monitor and report quality requirements per company QA policies and customer specifications, ensuring ISO principals are implemented and adhered to.
    • Make recommendations for products, processes, and system improvements based on quality assessments.
