    Head of Commercial Strategy

    Key Responsibilities:

    Revenue Growth and Commercial Expansion

    • Drive sustainable financial growth by expanding the client’s Retail Media Network (RMN) commercial activities and developing new revenue streams.
    • Oversee the commercialisation of the client’s offering, including maintaining and updating the Advertising Rate Card.
    • Collaborate with the advertising product team to create and monetise bespoke advertising solutions.

    Team Leadership and Development

    • Recruit, manage, mentor, and performance manage the New Business Development and Client Service teams.
    • Foster a high-performing sales culture, ensuring continuous skill development and alignment with strategic goals.

    Strategic Sales Management

    • Establish robust sales management processes and use key performance metrics to monitor and improve commercial activity outcomes.
    • Drive the development and execution of sales strategies, including forecasting, pipeline building, and budget planning, to meet and exceed revenue targets.
    • Provide actionable insights into core sales performance challenges and implement effective solutions to address them.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Cultivate relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met to drive retention and profitability.
    • Identify and acquire new customers, fostering long-term, profitable partnerships.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering world-class materials and interactions.

    Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification

    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging opportunities and anticipate market shifts.
    • Develop business plans to capitalise on expansion, business development, and competitive advantages.
    • Create and implement strategies to position the client as the leader in Retail Media Advertising across Africa.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with diverse teams, including Marketing, Retail Buying, BI Data, Legal, Finance, and Product, to align commercial initiatives with broader company objectives.
    • Support the packaging department and monetising of advertising services.

    Financial and Performance Accountability

    • Set financial targets, develop budgets, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Prepare and present detailed performance reports to executive management.

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record in commercial strategy, sales leadership, and revenue growth, preferably in Retail Media or Advertising.
    • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in building, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.
    • Expertise in market analysis, business development, and client relationship management.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create actionable strategies based on data.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a commitment to delivering world-class customer interactions.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

    Marketing Coordinator

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Plan and execute all social media and display advertising campaigns.
    • Monitor social media metrics – track reach, clicks, and user engagement across all platforms
    • Create weekly reports showing social media growth and performance data
    • Use analytics tools to gather and document accurate platform metrics
    • Compare weekly and monthly stats to identify trends and successful content
    • Assist senior management in planning, and executing specific marketing work and events.
    • Coordinate production of artwork, source images and check copy.
    • Design, build and maintain social media presence.
    • Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.
    • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from the social network presence.
    • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
    • Manage all artwork and collateral requests and day to day activities
    • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to increase awareness for both the brand and the brand services
    • Coordinate monthly marketing reports, ensuring that deadlines are met.

    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • At least 2 years work experience in Digital or Traditional Marketing, and specifically social media campaigns

    Social Media influencer Strategist

    • As a Social Media Influence Strategist, you will take ownership of developing and executing comprehensive influencer marketing strategies for a major client in the food sector.
    • You will manage multiple social media platforms, create high-quality content that resonates with audiences, and work closely with the creative team to deliver engaging and impactful campaigns.
    • This role requires a creative, self-driven individual who is confident in managing relationships with influencers and aligning strategies with brand objectives to boost visibility and engagement.
    • The ideal candidate will bring at least four years of experience in social media or influencer strategy, preferably within the FMCG or food industry.
