    Master Data Team Leader - Westville

    Minimum Requirements: 

    • Matric certificate is essential.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably on the Bomm System.
    • Proficient in computer usage and mathematics.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    New Supplier Listings:

    • Capture new supplier trades and update supplier contact details.
    • Perform prelisting and ranging for stores.
    • Conduct audits to maintain data accuracy.

    Account Closure:

    • Efficiently handle the closing of supplier accounts.

    New Item Listings:

    • Manage the listing of new items into the business.

    Master Data Attribute Changes:

    • Capture and implement changes to item attributes such as barcode, case pack, dimensions, and descriptions.
    • Update product codes, tax types, and other relevant data.
    • Ensure accurate configurations and dimensions.

    Linking:

    • Link or add stores to suppliers and manage item linkage between suppliers.
    • Delink or remove stores from suppliers as necessary.

    Ranging:

    • Activate or derange items for stores.
    • Manage replenishment type changes.
    • Coordinate national ranging exercises.
    • Suspend or discontinue items globally as needed.
    • Activate or suspend item supplier status.

    Buying Help Desk Queries:

    • Address various queries related to master data attributes, barcode management, store linking, and range alignment.
    • Conduct gap analysis and manage Pick n Pay IDoc processes.

    Team Leader Function:

    • Lead the Master Data team, assigning tasks and ensuring completion.
    • Handle PA logs on OTRS and coordinate with auditors for data validation.
    • Ensure accuracy and efficiency through thorough checks and audits.

    Payroll Clerk - Westville

    Minimum Requirements

    • Manage branch and casual payroll information, including capturing details of new employee engagements, terminations, transfers, maternity covers, relocations, medical aids, overtime, and staff accounts 
    • Execute month-end procedures, such as 3rd party payments & reconciliations 
    • Handle contracts of employment & contract renewals 
    • Ensure compliance with leave policies & procedures 
    • Demonstrate proficiency in SAP payroll, utilizing the system effectively to process payroll accurately 
    • Stay updated on the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), tax rules and regulations, and any changes that may impact processes 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Minimum educational requirement: Matric (Grade 12) 
    • Solid understanding & hands-on experince with SAP payroll 
    • Thorough knowledge of leave policies & procedures

    Payroll Onboarding Clerk - Westville

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • 1-2 years of experience in a payroll role, with knowledge in:
    • SAP Payroll is advantageous
    • Good understanding of Leave, Time and Attendance Policies and Procedures
    • Proficient in Excel

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Property, Commerce, or related field. Advanced degree preferred
    • Extensive network of developers, landlords, and industry contacts in Southern Africa.
    • Strong understanding of demographic analysis, market research, and property law.
    • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to property transactions and leasing agreements.
    • Proven track record of successfully identifying and securing retail property sites.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in market and financial analysis.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Site Identification: Identify and evaluate potential sites for new retail stores based on market analysis, demographic trends, and strategic business objectives.
    • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective sites, including zoning regulations, land use restrictions, environmental factors, and feasibility studies.
    • Network Development: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with developers, landlords, and other stakeholders. Leverage existing network to source new opportunities and expedite the site selection process. Engage at the highest level to negotiate favourable deals.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough demographic and market studies to inform site selection and expansion strategy. Analyse consumer trends, competition, and economic factors to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
    • Legal Compliance: A good knowledge of all relevant laws and regulations governing property development, leasing and administration. Work closely with legal counsel to review contracts, leases, and other legal documents. Mitigate legal risks and ensure smooth transaction processes.
    • Negotiation: Negotiate lease agreements and other legal documents with property owners, developers, and landlords to secure favorable terms for the company.  Advocate for the interests of the company while seeking mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.
    • Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize the company's property portfolio, including lease renewals, relocations, expansions, and disposals, to maximize value and minimize risk.
    • Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, including property market updates, site evaluations, financial analysis, and portfolio performance metrics.
