    Flight Operations Inspector - High/Low (2 Years Contract) (Centurion)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To determine the operational level of safety that the prospective AOC holders can achieve and does in fact achieve in actual operations. Through evaluation (assess), monitor (conduct periodic and unannounced surveillance) of compliance to operations of an aircraft:
    • making recommendations regarding the issuance or amendment of the AOC and the associated operations specifications, and the operator's competence to continue to exercise the privileges of the certificate.
    • making recommendations concerning any special conditions that, considering the investigation, may need to be imposed.
    • informing the operator of any deficiencies needing rectification; and
    • making recommendations concerning appropriate enforcement action.

    SITE and AIRLINE INSPECTIONS

    • Conduct follow-up on inspection reports to ensure that appropriate action has been taken in a timely manner;
    • Submit reports on each inspection or investigation in the manner prescribed, and complete and process the applicable inspection forms;
    • Investigate and report, as required, possible violations of the basic aviation law or related safety operating regulations and rules;
    • Continuously review the operator's pertinent documentation (e.g. operations and training), company policies, operating instructions and information to staff and system of amendments to determine whether they are accurate and made available in a timely manner to persons requiring their use;
    • Keep appropriate CAA inspectorate staff informed on all aspects of the current operation and projected developments in the company including changes in executive personnel, in assigned responsibilities and in the operator's organization in general;
    • Conduct qualification, approval and supervisory activities with respect to personnel proposed as designated examiners by an operator; and

    PROPOSALS and REVISION of STANDARDS

    • Proactively research, develop, and propose the specific standards to be applied in the area of operators' operations.

    COMMUNICATIONS and SAFETY PROMOTION

    • Project a satisfactory image of the SACAA to all stakeholders.
    • Provide industry feedback to the Authority.
    • Promote Aviation safety by proposing improvements in operational requirements.

    Requirements
    Minimum Qualification:

    • Grade 12 plus hold or have held Commercial Pilot License or Airline Transport Pilot License

    Ideal Qualification:

    • Commercial Pilot License with Frozen ATPL

    Experience:

    • 1500 hours as a pilot or pilot-in-command of civil or military air transport aircraft ATPL (A) for Part 121 OR 
    • 1000 hours as a pilot or pilot-in-command of civil or military air transport aircraft CPL (A) for Part 135

    Administration Officer (Fixed-Term Contract) (Centurion)

    Description
    GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS

    • Assist Management and the Department in managing the diary, coordinate and schedule departmental meetings and events using the organisation’s electronic tools.
    • Prepare departmental documents and reports.
    • Collate information for reports preparation.
    • Package documentation required for meetings and other departmental engagements.
    • Circulate required information and documentation throughout the department and keep accurate record thereof.
    • Receive and relay documentation and information to applicable recipients in the department.
    • Develop and maintain a proper filing system to ensure accurate retrieval of information as and when required.
    • Screen, classify and record documents for easy access and tracking.
    • Coordinate functions and meetings for the department.
    • Provide administrative support with meetings and other departmental functions.
    • Prepare and circulate minutes for departmental meetings.
    • Update and circulate for approval information on departmental documentation as provided by the Subject Matter experts.
    • Coordinate budget preparation and reporting on expenditure
    • Process operation manuals and amendments.
    • Arrange domestic and international travel by organising submission approval, allowances, and all travel related logistics.

    OFFICE AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT

    • Manage the control of all consumables and liaise with the Procurement Department regarding stock.
    • Organise requests for assets, their delivery, allocation and management for the department.
    • Track and monitor progress on projects and prepare reports thereon.
    • Ensure appropriate communication within SACAA and with external clients.
    • Promptly deal with telephonic, mailed enquiries or personal interactions.

    Requirements
    Minimum Qualification:

    • Grade 12 with a Secretariat or Office Administration/ Management Certificate 

    Ideal Qualification:

    • Diploma in Office Administration/Secretary or Office Management 

    Experience:

    • 1-3 years Office Administration or Secretary

    Contact Centre Agent (Centurion)

    Overall Purpose Of The Job

    • The Contact Centre Agent serves as the primary point of contact for SACAA clients, delivering prompt, accurate information and ensuring outstanding customer experience in line with our Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

    Contact Centre - Client Engagement & Enquiry Management

    • Handle 50–70 inbound calls daily, courteously and efficiently.
    • Log and track all client interactions in the CRM until full resolution.
    • Provide first-line information, clarifying client needs and directing more complex issues to specialist teams when necessary.
    • Uphold agreed SLAs, ensuring every enquiry is responded to within the defined Service level standards.

    Quality Assurance & Compliance

    • Accurately record all customer interactions and adhere strictly to Contact-centre procedures.
    • Meet or exceed internal quality-assurance benchmarks on every call.
    • Monitor personal SLA adherence and proactively address any potential delays.

    Customer Satisfaction & Feedback

    • Project a professional, friendly image in every interaction, enhancing SACAA’s reputation.
    • After each call, dispatch a brief customer-satisfaction survey and analyze responses to identify service-improvement opportunities.
    • Collaborate with management to refine processes based on feedback and performance metrics.

    Administration & Reporting

    • Maintain comprehensive, accurate records of all discussions and correspondence.
    • Interface seamlessly with internal departments—escalating unresolved issues and providing updates.
    • Compile and analyze call-volume statistics and other performance data for management review.

    Requirements
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

    • Grade 12 and National Diploma in Business Studies; Consumer Studies; Management Studies; Marketing or relevant equivalent qualification

    IDEAL

    • Degree in Business Studies; Consumer Studies; Management Studies; Marketing or relevant equivalent qualification

    EXPERIENCE

    • 2-3 years Call-center or Client-services  experience
    • Prior exposure to CRM systems and quality-assurance frameworks would be advantageous
