    Learner: Administration HR (People Living with Disability)

    Purpose of Job

    • To participate in and complete the Learnership programme for designated field of expertise.

    Programme

    • The 12 month programme will offer a theoretical element aligned to a NQF Learnership programme and practicalonsite work experience to improve the skills and workplace performance of entry-level learners. It providesfoundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, computer and basic business principles.
    • It is suitable for Grade 12 qualified persons to develop essential professional skills. During the practical componentLearners will provide administrative support to improve the effectiveness of managers and the departments ingeneral as work readiness preparation.
    • The theoretical component will cover: Entrepreneurship, Business Operations, Customer Service, BusinessAccounting, Maths Literacy, Communication skills and Computer Skills.

    Additional Exposure

    • Leads the implementation and execution of HR solutions in the assigned client portfolio with high levels ofcustomer service and in compliance with set standards and policies.
    • Acts as a clear single point of contact for HR related issues.
    • Continuously contributes to increased HR process efficiencies in business, demonstrates an in-depthunderstanding of HR processes and highlights any inefficiency and recommends corrective actions to the relevantHR team members and management.
    • Support the provision of HR data and analytics through accurate and reliable calculations and reports. Thisincludes using HR technology and systems to analyse and interpret relevant HR data.
    • Provide relevant analytics facilitating effective decision making based on empirical information and accurate data.
    • Compiles and presents meaningful HR reports through interpretation, comparisons and trend analyses.
    • Supports the recruitment and on-boarding of employees whilst ensuring a positive experience for new employees.
    • Takes an active part in the people selection process, in collaboration with the more senior Business Partners orHR Managers and the relevant line managers, facilitating an efficient and compliant process.
    • Manages the employment contracting, enrolment and on-boarding process for new employees.
    • Supports the implementation of Talent management processes as required and ensures these are executedefficiently. This may include educating line managers and employees on such processes and the desired
    • outcomes, and making sure deadlines are adhered to and processes completed on time and generating accurate data.
    • Support Employee Relations objectives through compliance with procedural and substantive fairnessrequirements, providing assistance in providing a first line labour relations consulting service and ensuringaccurate, relevant and complete documentation and system management.
    • Provides employees and line managers with a sound understanding of Compensation and Benefits principles,policies and procedures and can explain these in a clear and customer appropriate ways.
    • Executes accurate calculation of remuneration, rewards and benefits and assists with salary benchmarking andcompilation of comparative ratios to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
    • Manages the efficient and effective implementation of staff movement (e.g.employee transfers, promotions,redeployment and rotation) and separation processes and procedures (e.g.resignation, retirement, retrenchment,dismissal, ill health, death and incapacity).
    • Implements clearly defined change management processes and facilitates the successful implementation ofchange projects, utilising necessary material to support line management and employees in adhering to changeexpectations. This includes coaching and educating line management and employees in respect of the practicalapplication of the change processes.

    Formal Education

    • Matric/ Grade 12
    • Diploma or Bachelors degree in HR or equivalent will be advantageous

    Stock & Quality Specialist

    Purpose of Job

    • To oversee QA/QC activities in operational area.
    • To control legal documentation as required.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Plan, develop, and implement QA / QC programmes for field staff.
    • Manage the accredited Ex. certification mark scheme for Sasol Group Mining Export Plant in accordance with health and safety regulations.
    • Implement, maintain, and lead continuous improvement of quality management system with focus finished goods.
    • Create quality inspection reports in the field.
    • Administer and maintain automation scripts and review product changes across different BUs.
    • Coordinate with product owners to provide efficient feedback.
    • Align equipment provided by manufacturers / suppliers and subcontractors with the principle of explosion protection.
    • Qualify new suppliers through an audit of their facilities and / or evaluation of their capabilities and business practices.
    • Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
    • Perform internal and external audits of QC systems and repair procedures according to mark scheme requirements.
    • Evaluate and detect quality trends to identify significant problems, and obtain / recommend appropriate action to be taken.
    • Compile and amend legal flameproof certification reports in adherence to SANS IEC specifications.
    • Approve design specifications and technical drawings within area of responsibility. Oversee compliance with legal requirements about MHSA reg. 21.
    • Review and assess technical reports on data accuracy, relevancy, and completeness.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of the project quality management system. Implement improvements when required.
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks. Implement corrective action plan to avoid downtime.
    • Provide expertise and leadership to quality team.
    • Escalate quality issues to business leaders and senior management in a timely manner.
    • Apply evidence-based SHE practices in alignment with set standards for safe operations.
    • Implement Sasol Group's risk philosophy and enterprise risk management framework.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the quality of products.
    • Continuously improve own skills and knowledge.
    • Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.
    • Manage team performance and development formally and informally based on standard practices in use across Sasol Group.

    Formal Education

    • BTech University Bachelors Degree (South Africa)
