    Senior Risk Manager

    What You'll Bring

    How You’ll Contribute

    • Create, document and implement the Risk Management Framework, processes and procedures across TransUnion’s African operations
    • Undertake reviews of risk themes, regulatory topics, processes, projects or business activities to identify potential risks and issues
    • Prepare papers, reports and dashboards for risk governance committees
    • Work with business stakeholders to find solutions and ensure material risks and issues are appropriately addressed
    • Support regulatory interactions and assist in the preparation of high-quality documents to share with regulators
    • Support ongoing development and embedding of the Risk Management Framework
    • Work in collaboration with Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, Data Governance and 1st Line Risk Teams to provide the Boards and other stakeholders with assurance over TransUnion’s material risk exposures
    • Build and foster relationships with and become a trusted business partner of senior leaders of the organization
    • Direct, identify and solve complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging the direct and indirect resources
    • Provide proactive, accurate, expert and specialist risk management advice to all business units and divisions within TransUnion

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, risk management or related field.
    • 7 – 8 years post-qualification experience in risk management within a credit/financial environment or highly regulated industry.
    • Knowledge of the South African and general African Credit Industry will be advantageous.

    • Strong stakeholder management, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to write formal policies and procedures as well as routine reports and correspondence.

    Market Development Specialist

    What You'll Bring

    • Partner with colleagues across the matrix (e.g., Product Marketing, Sales, Legal) and other business units in the implementation of market development plans and marketing campaigns – providing input and/or deliverables regarding the strategic approach, messaging, and tactical execution
    • Collect and disseminate “voice of market” for market development and strategy needs, including inputs for market sizing and segmentation studies, business case development, and pricing analysis

    How You’ll Contribute

    • Conduct and prepare privacy risk assessments for new and existing product and services relating to data use, to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and data licenses, and consistency with consumer expectations
    • Support the International Privacy Operations Manager by assessing the regional privacy impact of global solutions, internal operations and global technology and human resources initiatives
    • Provide regional data privacy advice on the development of new services or enhancements to existing services to ensure privacy by design principles
    • Identify and escalate relevant privacy risk items to the International Privacy Operations Manager
    • Create and maintain an accurate regional register of data assets and data processing activities
    • At direction of Chief Privacy Office and Regional Counsel, implement changes necessary to comply with new regulations, and to respond to regulatory audits

    Consultant, Data Science and Analytics - Monitoring and BI

    What You'll Bring

    This role requires that you perform an array of regression, segmentation, clustering, and other advanced statistical analysis techniques to understand client business environments to advise clients to consider changing processes or updating implemented solutions to maximize business strategies. You will construct, analyze and interpret various monitoring reports and present outputs to clients in order to give them a clear understanding of their credit book over a period of time. Explores new statistical analysis and related research techniques and software and presents findings to peers within TransUnion. Manages the integration of data analysis with statistical models to make sound strategic recommendations.

    • A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial science, Business Mathematics or Informatics degree
    • Sound understanding of statistical software. SAS, R, Python, SQL, Business Object and Dashboard creation experience would be preferred.
    • Technical aptitude with strong logical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in performing multiple tasks and dealing with changing deadline requirements required.
    • Must have good verbal and written communication skills; strong listening and teamwork skills; and effective presentation and sales skills are also required.
    • Must be focused, flexible, and organized.
    • Occasional travel is required.

    Data Analyst

    As a senior data analyst, you will work closely within the Data Science & Analytics (DSA) team to introduce operational efficiencies when working with large structured data sets across multiple internal and external platforms. You’ll bring your technical experience to design and develop robust data workflows to drive deeper insights from raw data and enable data science teams to accelerate the development and monitoring of machine learning models.

    • Honours or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Informatics, engineering or similar field.
