    Professional Quantity Surveyor

    Job Description

    • The Professional Quantity Surveyor is required to be facilitate over the programme development cycle (engineering, procurement and construction) and  provides quantity surveying duties pre- and/or post-contract  while working as part of the project team. Performs specific and limited portions of a broader project as an experienced  quantity surveyor.  Guides Candidate Quantity Surveyors on  works and detailed routine.

    Technical Excellence:

    • Undertakes responsibilities independently and/or under very general supervision, where work is reviewed for soundness of judgement and accuracy
    • Provides expertise and supervision utilizing more than one competence on projects of varying scope and complexity
    • Provides expertise and supervision with completing the measurement of quantities for input into cost plans, cost estimates and bills of quantities
    • Provides expertise and supervision with the preparation of tender documentation
    • Provides expertise and supervision with viability studies and cost estimates
    • Provides expertise and supervision with implementing, maintaining and monitoring cost control procedures throughout the duration of a project
    • Provides expertise and supervision with providing necessary input related to financial claims
    • Provides expertise and supervision with evaluating variations, additions and omissions, etc, and incorporating these into monthly cost reports
    • Provides expertise and supervision with preparing, pricing and negotiating change orders with clients and contractors
    • Complies with all QA requirements
    • Benchmarks project data​​​​​​

    Qualifications

    • Begins to participate in client meetings to discuss project requirements, explain/defend work, etc.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum 5  years relevant experience
    • Must be registered as PRQS
    • Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent) from an accredited, internationally recognized institution.

    Knowledge Management Coordinator

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a creative and strategic knowledge management coordinator to join our team. As a knowledge management coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and updating the company's knowledge base, as well as supporting the bid team on proposals and reporting. You will work closely with subject matter experts, writers, designers, and project managers to ensure that the company's knowledge assets are accurate, relevant, and accessible, and that the bid documents are compliant, consistent, and compelling.

    Your main duties will include:

    Knowledge Management

    • Collecting, maintaining and enhancing the company's knowledge management system, including categorizing, tagging, and uploading content
    • Developing and implementing processes and guidance for knowledge creation, capture, sharing, and reuse
    • Conducting regular audits and reviews of the knowledge base to identify gaps, errors, and obsolete information to ensure all information is up-to-date, accurate and accessible
    • - Providing training and guidance to staff on how to use and contribute to the knowledge base
    • Editing and proofreading library (to be uploaded) documents for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
    • Facilitate collaboration between colleagues to promote knowledge sharing

    Supporting the Bid Studio Team:

    • Salesforce Reporting and dashboards and opportunity data updates and accuracy.
    • General bid support where needed (administration, desktop publishing, use of AECOM AI tools)

    Skills:

    • Strong project management and organisational skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Knowledge Management tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint)
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

    Qualifications

    • Qualification in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in knowledge/content management, information management, bid management / coordination or a related field
    • Experience with knowledge/content management systems and CRMs (Salesforce / Sharepoint)
    • Experience in implementing Knowledge Management syst
