We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Agent to join our Quality Control team. In this role, you will inspect incoming products to ensure they meet Barron's quality standards, helping to catch problems before they reach our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect all received POs and check units against the required tech pack and AQL standards.
Check for defects, colour shading, and measurement accuracy on every unit.
Complete and submit AQL reports, with photos of any defects found.
Report quality issues to QA and the relevant Buyer immediately.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date inspection and quality records.
Assist other departments with quality-related queries as required.
Education Requirements
Grade 12/Matric or equivalent qualification.
A certificate in Quality Control, Clothing Production, Textile Technology, or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential.
Basic computer literacy, including email and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of AQL standards and garment/product inspection would be beneficial; training will be provided.
What We're Looking For
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow set processes.
Comfortable working with physical stock in a warehouse environment.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic computer literacy (email, spreadsheets, recording data accurately).
Previous Quality Control experience is an advantage but not essential - full training will be provided.
