    Professional Manager: Transformation Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

    • The main purpose of the job is to ensure the successful implementation of strategic objective to facilitate transformation of the auditing profession across the RA pipeline, leading the competency framework review project to ensure that the competency framework is fit for purpose, providing technical and strategic input on the accreditation and monitoring processes, and managing stakeholder relationships across all projects.

    Transformation

    • Manage the implementation of transformation workplan, activities, projects.
    • Manage all components of the RA pipeline (i.e. Students, Trainees at audit firms, managers at audit firms, Registered Candidate Auditors and Registered Auditors).
    • Manage, commission and/or carry out research, monitoring and analysis into issues impacting transformation at each stage of the RA pipeline.
    • Manage and delegate activities related to events, prize-givings, conferences, career fairs.
    • Active establishment, maintenance, and management of stakeholder relationships with appropriate leadership of key stakeholders on transformation matters. These stakeholders include ABASA; FASSET; accredited Universities, auditing firms and professional bodies.
    • Formulation and management of the transformation budget.
    • Manage the competency framework development service provider according to the agreed project plan.
    • Manage the work of the competency framework task team including secretariat functions, preparation of papers and packs and delegation of tasks

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Post-graduate qualification
    • Strategic, leadership level qualifications and/courses
    • Professional body experience (working at and/or with a professional body/statutory body in the education space)
    • Report collation and writing.
    • Stakeholder management experience (multiple levels)
    • Research experience.
    • Education background
    • Strong project management experience.

    Senior Investment Associate - JHB - Northern Suburbs

    Qualifications:

    • B Engineering Degree with Finance Qualification (CFA) or similar;
    • Post Grad at Masters level.

    Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years business analysis experience in Engineering, Corporate and/or Project Finance, Credit Analysis, Private Equity or Structured Finance
    • 3-5 Years project management in a financial/investment environment
    • Strong overall awareness and knowledge of various industry sectors
    • Strong risk analysis skills
    • Strong report writing skills
    • Able to independently develop and/or evaluate financial models
    • Must be familiar with types of agreements/contracts typically used in corporate, project finance and private equity transactions
    • Experience with corporate finance valuation techniques
    • Demonstrates deep understanding of solutions that could impact on the business
    • Project development and entrepreneurial experience would be advantageous
    • Practical engineering-related experience in relation to the following:
    • Technical design (technical standards, technical drawings), plant operation and management (plant organograms, roles and responsibilities, shift planning, production scheduling), plant shutdown maintenance (planning, costing, implementation) and plant construction (tender procurement processes and adjudication; and construction contract structures and management) would be advantageous; Practical Project Management experience would be advantageous
    • Willing to travel.

    Learning and Development Officer - Durban

    • The Learning and Development Officer is responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of all administrative actions required in relation to the maintenance of Management Control and Skills Development Elements on the BBBEE Scorecard.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • An appropriate National Diploma/ Degree in Human Resources
    • Registered Skills Development Facilitator/ Coach and Mentor/ Assessor and Moderator
    • At least 3-5 years within a Learning and Development Officer/Coordinator role
    • Knowledge of working with SETA and relevant stakeholders
    • Knowledge of processing and submission of WSP and ATR’s
    • Computer literacy with Excel-Intermediate level
    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience with BBBEE system
    • Must have conducted Training needs analysis and understand process.
