    Veterinary Intern

    Description

    • Conducting simple and complex tests independently.
    • Interpreting data against known sources of information.
    • Trouble shooting where necessary.
    • Responsible for the entering, verification and reporting of test results as Technical Signatory.

    Microbiology Intern

    Description

    • Perform sample preparation for simple tests independently.
    • Handle sample storage and disposal after testing is completed.
    • Cleaning and disinfection of laboratory environment, plastic and glass ware.
    • Improve laboratory efficiency.
    • Ensuring adherence to departmental TAT’s and early warnings to direct supervisor of any delay on TAT.

    Inspections Intern

    Description

    Audit Planning

    • Efficiently plan and schedule audits for both new and existing customers, ensuring alignment with their specific requirements.

    Daily Administration

    • Manage daily administrative tasks, including:
    • Coordinating logistics and courier services as needed.
    • Handling sample coordination with the laboratory and tracking results.
    • Ensuring timely delivery of audit reports to clients.
    • Keeping the tracking sheet updated for management reporting.
    • Implementing and maintaining an accurate and organized filing system.
    • Managing all client audit files electronically while meeting KPIs for each audit stage.
    • Ensuring all activities comply with established process flows.

    Excel and Data Work

    • Use Excel to maintain and analyze large sets of data related to audits, including tracking audit schedules, results, and KPIs.
    • Create and maintain complex spreadsheets to track client progress, report statuses, and manage data flow.
    • Prepare and update audit reports, audit schedules, and tracking sheets using Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, charts, and formulas).
    • Implement data validation techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency across all data sets.
    • Ensure data integrity across systems and databases.

    • Perform scheduling duties with accuracy and efficiency, including:

    General Administrative Duties

    • Support general administrative functions, such as:
    • Coordinating courier collections and deliveries as needed.

    • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards.

    Queries

    • Handle inquiries from auditors, and the food safety inspections team promptly and professionally.
