    2X Dentist Grade 1/2/3

    Requirements :

    • Registration with HPCSA as a Dentist in category independent practice. Current proof of HPCSA registration (proof to be submitted if shortlisted).
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ appropriate experience post community service as a Dentist preferably with exposure to public oral health services. Previous work experience in the Oral health Services Academic platform and a postgraduate qualification in Oral Health Sciences will be an added advantage.

    Duties :

    Requirements :

    • Registration as an Oral Hygienist with the Health Professional Council of South Africa under category of Independent Practice.
    • Basic qualification accredited with the HPCSA and proof of current registration.

    Requirements :

    Medical Specialist Grade 1 - Infectious Diseases

    Requirements :

    • Appropriate medical qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a medical specialist in Internal Medicine [FCP (SA) or equivalent], and an infectious Diseases Specialist).

    • Supervision of medical officers and interns working in the HAST program, and coordination of the hospitals overall strategic response to HIV, TB and STI’s.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor HAST work plans, ensuring adherence to national guidelines. Conduct clinical audits, morbidity/mortality reviews, and quality improvement initiatives for HAST indicators. Liaise with district management teams, NGOs and community structures where required.
    • Contributing towards sub-specialist services at Helen Joseph Tertiary Hospital for both inpatient and outpatient services. Play a senior role in the management of infectious diseases inpatient and outpatients at Helen Joseph Tertiary Hospital, including leading clinical ward rounds and training fellows. Involvement in infection prevention, control, and antimicrobial stewardship activities within the hospital.
    • Contributing substantially to research output for the division. General Medicine: As a consultant, the candidate will be responsible for the clinical management of general medical patients within any of the general medicine units at Helen Joseph Tertiary Hospital.
    • The incumbent will be required to lead operational and academic ward rounds including post-intake, follow-up, and teaching rounds. The candidate will be required to supervise registrars, medical officers, intern doctors and students inpatient care and the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Other clinical duties will include managing patients at MOPD. Academic: Participation in the academic duties of the Witswatersrand Internal Medicine and related Departments.
    • Performance of research within the department. Supervision of research within the department and MMed students.     Medical Specialist Grade 1 – 3 Radiology (This Is a Re-Advertisement And People Who Applied Previously Are Encouraged To Re-Apply)

    Requirements :

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent. MBBCh/MBCHB, Medical Specialist in Radiology – MMED Radiology and FC (Rad) and active registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Radiology.

    Dental Therapist

    Requirements :

    • Grade 12 certificate, Bachelor of Dental Therapy, certificate of registration with Health Professions Council (HPCSA) as a Dental Therapist. Proof of current registration with the HPCSA and copy of an ID document.
    • Valid driver's licence Code EB or C1. All documents to be certified and not older than six months.

    Requirements :

    • Basic R425 qualification, i.e Diploma/Degree in nursing that allows registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse. Degree/Diploma in Nursing Management.
