    Power Platform Analyst

    • The Power Platform Analyst will support, enhance, and maintain the organisation’s Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environment, improving workflows, enabling self-service solutions, managing SharePoint sites and permissions, and building low-code automation using Power Platform tools. This role is open to remote-based applicants.

    Job Description
    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and information-flow requirements.
    • Translate business requirements into practical SharePoint or Power Platform solutions.
    • Support users across all departments by providing guidance, training, and best practices.
    • Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance governance.

    Design, Development & Support

    • Design, build, and maintain Power Automate workflows, Power Apps forms, and SharePoint Lists/Libraries.
    • Configure and maintain SharePoint Online sites, permissions, pages, and content structures.
    • Develop simple automation, data integrations, and reporting dashboards using Power BI (advantageous).
    • Support the lifecycle of solutions: testing, deployment, documentation, training, and ongoing optimisation.
    • Monitor platform health, usage, and permissions to ensure stable, secure, and compliant operation.
    • Troubleshoot issues and provide second-line support to departments using Power Platform or SharePoint solutions.
    • Assist with governance, auditing, and content lifecycle management (retention, ownership, permissions review).

    Job Requirements

    • Practical experience building Power Automate workflows and Power Apps (canvas apps essential).
    • Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online: site administration, lists, libraries, permissions, and content structure.
    • Ability to analyse processes and translate them into structured workflows or applications.
    • Understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD basics).
    • Strong communication skills, able to bridge the gap between business and technical users.
    • High attention to detail and ability to work with structured data.
    • Ability to produce user documentation, SOPs, and training material.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests.

    Advantageous

    • Power BI report creation
    • PowerShell basics
    • JSON formatting for advanced SharePoint views
    • Understanding of governance, compliance, and auditing within Microsoft 365

    Education and training

    • IT-related degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.
    • Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, MS-700) beneficial but not required.

    Experience

    • 1–3 years’ experience working with SharePoint Online or Power Platform in a support or analyst capacity.
    • Hands-on experience building workflows or applications using Power Automate / Power Apps.
    • Experience training business users and gathering requirements.
    • Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server or data concepts advantageous.
    • Experience working within Agile or iterative delivery environments beneficial.

    Job Description
    Product Strategy & Vision

    • Define and own product strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives and strategy.
    • Identify and prioritise opportunities that drive growth, efficiency, and customer value across interconnected products and platforms.
    • Balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic investments.
    • Translate business objectives into clear product outcomes, success metrics, and investment opportunities.

    Customer, Market & Problem Discovery

    • Deeply understand customer needs, behaviours, and pain points through qualitative and quantitative research.
    • Partner with UX and Data teams to define problem statements and validate solutions.
    • Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to inform product direction.
    • Identify unmet needs and ecosystem-level opportunities across product verticals.

    Road-mapping & Prioritisation

    • Own and maintain outcome-based roadmaps that balance customer value, commercial impact, and technical constraints.
    • Prioritise initiatives using data, customer insights, and strategic fit.
    • Manage dependencies across teams, platforms, and external partners.

    • Own end-to-end customer journeys across onboarding, payments, servicing, and ecosystem integrations.
    • Define success metrics (e.g. activation, conversion, retention, compliance completion).
    • Monitor live performance using analytics and customer feedback.
    • Drive continuous optimisation through experimentation, iteration, and learning.
    • Leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance product capabilities and customer experiences.
    • Identify opportunities for intelligent, predictive, or personalised experiences.

    Stakeholder & Commercial Management

    • Engage and influence stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and commercial teams.
    • Translate complex product topics into clear narratives for senior and executive leadership forums.

    • Manage third-party and ecosystem partner dependencies where applicable.

    Data, Metrics & Decision-Making

    • Define and track product KPIs and OKRs aligned to business outcomes.
    • Use data to inform prioritisation, measure impact, and course-correct decisions.
    • Partner with data and analytics teams to uncover insights and validate assumptions.
    • Ensure decisions are evidence-based and outcome-focused.

    Governance & Compliance

    • Ensure products meet regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements (e.g. KYC, PCI, AML, POPIA).
    • Partner with Risk and Compliance teams to balance usability with regulatory obligations.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement of product operating models, processes and standards.

    Job Requirements

    • Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
    • Formal Product Management related training or certification
    • Agile delivery certification or demonstrable experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams.
    • Additional training in data analysis, financial modelling, or design thinking considered advantageous.
    • Equivalent practical experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualification

    EXPERIENCE

    • 5-8+ years’ experience in Product Management, ideally within fintech or complex digital B2C product.
    • Experience designing or managing payment-related products or flows is advantageous.
    • Proven experience owning and scaling customer-facing digital products.
    • Experience working in regulated environments.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role with B2C product management experience
