    General Workers (Tygerberg)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • Minimum Grade 12
    • Must have a valid Forklift Operator certificate
    • Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience as a General Worker
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Operate the Forklift
    • Do plant maintenance and housekeeping
    • Operate equipment in a respectful and safe manner
    • Must be able to carry out instructions given by supervisor
    • Work and communicate effectively with the team
    • Acknowledge that Management may allocate additional tasks according to operational requirements
    • Perform any other manual work required on site

    Electrician (Lethabo)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    • Minimum Grade 12
    • Have an applicable trade certificate as an Electrician
    • MV switching certificate
    • 5 years + experience as an Electrician
    • Knowledge in fault finding, high voltage and switching
    • Be able to interpret electrical drawings
    • Be prepared to work, shifts, after hours and on standby as and when required
    • Be able work in a fast paced and dynamic environment

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Perform visual inspections and identify faults/defects
    • Wire and rewire buildings to specifications – factory machinery
    • Comply with all the requirements of the OHS Act
    • Install conduit tubing, and install light fittings and plugs in accordance with municipal and standard wiring regulations
    • Test installations and check that all faults have been cleared
    • Carry out electrical maintenance such as stoves, geysers, wiring installations, low voltage 3 Phase and single phase, starter, switch gear
    • Report to Line Manager any reoccurring defects
    • Conduct job observations and peer checks
    • Conduct risk assessments
    • Institute appropriate actions to rectify unsafe activities/or plant conditions
    • Record full details, technical and cost related history of work carried out and equipment used
    • Ensure all job cards and inspections are completed and recorded on the relevant system.
    • Adhere to safety requirement
    • Clean all equipment and work area daily, after usage

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Competencies

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

    • Minimum Grade 12
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • Be literate and functionally numerate
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar environment
    • Pre-employment medical required
    • Must have a valid Operator’s certificate
    • Basic mechanical background would be advantageous
    • Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • Operating the TMM (Dumper) and carrying out all related tasks
    • Reporting general mechanical elementary problems
    • Operate TMM (Dumper) in a respectable safe manner in line with training received

    Payroll Officer (Tygervalley)

    Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

    • Diploma in Payroll, HR or Finance
    • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a payroll office.

    Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

    • The Payroll Officer will be responsible for the full payroll function for approximately 400 employees on SAGE 300, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment.
    • The role requires meticulous attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organisational skills.
    • End-to-end processing of monthly payrolls for ±400 staff.
    • Capturing and maintaining accurate employee data on the payroll and leave planning systems.
    • Verifying and reconciling all payroll information prior to processing.
    • Processing salary increases, back pay calculations and termination payments.
    • Reviewing timesheets, wage computations, and resolving payroll discrepancies.
    • Conducting monthly consolidations, reconciliations and payments to third parties (SARS, pension, medical aid, etc.).
    • Preparing and submitting EMP201 reports, mid-year and year-end submissions, and statutory reports.
    • Ensuring compliance with tax, labour legislation, and statutory deadlines.
