    Controller - Store

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure that the actual item/s purchased corresponds with the customers receipt ensuring that the correct goods leave the premises
    • Ensure that the item purchased is correctly scanned
    • Keep record of inter branch sales
    • Greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter and exit the store
    • Monitor checkout stations (and self-service in stores with this feature) for cashier performance and needs by superior
    • Avoid duplications of to follow items
    • Participate in perpetual stocktakes
    • Ensure housekeeping of work area according to company standards

    REQUIREMENTS:

    General Assistant X4

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Loading customers vehicles, delivery trucks and transfer trucks promptly and accurately
    • Ensuring that stock is properly stacked and counted
    • Assist with pulling of stock for transfers
    • Reporting stock shortages
    • Reporting stock breakages
    • Up keeping of tidiness and cleaning of area by sweeping and upholding good housekeeping

    Driver Code 14 - Drive Thru Yard

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide good customer service
    • Completing of daily trip sheets (opening/closing km, departure/arrival times)
    • Completing a daily pre-trip inspection of your vehicle to ensure basic roadworthy standards. (indicating on trip sheet)
    • Reporting any defect on your vehicle to your Supervisor (completing of vehicle repair report)
    • Ensure that the truck assistants are with the truck at all times.
    • Plan and ensure with the most efficient route to your customer
    • Ensure all out going stock have the relevant documentation before being loaded.
    • Ensure all transferred documents are recorded in your logbook.
    • Ensure the transfer logbook is signed by the branch who receives the stock.
    • Ensure all stock are delivered in excellent condition
    • Hand in weekly evaluation reports to your Supervisor.
    • Reporting any delay at branches to your Supervisor.
    • Report to your Supervisor at the end of the day
    • Participate in perpetual stock takes.
    • Perform any work-related tasks delegated by superior

    Crane Operator Key Responsibilities

    • Operate crane safely to lift and move heavy loads
    • Inspect crane before use to ensure they are in good working order
    • Ensure the safe loading ,unloading ,and movement of materials using the crane
    • Assist with the positioning of loads and make adjustments as required
    • Perform daily checks and minor maintenance on crane equipment
    • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or Equivalent
    • Candidates with no Matric that have a valid license and have 3 years driving experience will be considered for the position
    • Minimum 3 Years driving experience
    • Code 14 Drivers Licence 
    • PDP (Public Driving Permit: Goods and Passengers)
    • Driver must be willing to operate the crane
    • Proven experience operating the crane (Willing to obtain one)
    • Crane Operation certification
    • Ability to handle pressure

    Sales Consultant - Irrigation Department

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To generate new sales and maintain existing customer base to promote the business and drive sustainable growth as well as increased margins and profits.
    • Attend to customers in a professional, competent, and helpful manner while generating new business opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships to ensure overall customer satisfaction, repeat business and referrals.
    • Respond to new and current client base regarding complaints and service enquiries including commercial clients.
    • Prepare and analyse costing for tenders considering plans and using best available prices.
    • Identify current sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
    • Advise the customer on products: price, specification, delivery, warranties, and any other information pertinent to the, use and care of the product.
    • Assess customer needs and advise customers on alternatives within the range of the product to further ensure customer needs are satisfied, explaining the features of different products and the benefits of using them.
    • Maintain and demonstrate up to date knowledge of the company’s product ranges and any additions/ changes to it and avail themselves for upskilling and product knowledge training.
    • Ensure merchandising is done according to the company’s merchandising standards and that the products are priced correctly.
    • Attend to admin tasks including, but not limited to maintenance and updating of customer book, special orders file, submitting invoices and other relevant paperwork.
    • Responsible for training and upskilling junior staff members in the department
    • Assist with the ongoing management of stock by way of product inventories and participating in stock takes, including perpetual stock takes.
    • Control and maintain acceptable stock levels and liaising with relevant departments regarding replenishment of stock when necessary

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or 3x Completed Intercept courses equating to total of 120 credits.
    • Candidates with no Matric will only be considered for this position if they have 10 years’ experience in Sales Consultant in specific trade
    • 10 Years sales experience in specific Hardware Trade
    • 7 years retail/hardware experience

    Operational Till Supervisor - Frontline Department

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure smooth operations of the department
    • Manage cashiers, lunch & tea breaks at the front end
