    Merchandiser | Managed People Solutions | Garden Route | PE

    Managed People Solutions is in search of a Merchandiser to work for a large Liquor Company to service the Garden Route area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Determine stock to be merchandised.
    • Draw stock requirements. 
    • Check vintage, product quality on the shelf, stock rotation, and price tags.
    • Execute merchandising activities as per cycle brief
    • Feedback on customer complaints, queries, and requests
    • Communicate and upkeep knowledge of product and promotions 
    • Effectively record merchandising activities 
    • Execute calls as per call cycle
    • Advice RSM on out of stock products

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Valid driver's license
    • At least 1 to 2 years of merchandising experience in the FMCG merchandising environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Review of contracts/agreements to identify areas of focus and risks.
    • Maintaining of all the various share registers.
    • Issuing and cancellation of share certificates.
    • Ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory requirements.
    • Driving key compliance such as the POPI Act.
    • Income and other taxes calculations, submissions, support, planning and coordination.
    • Preparation and maintaining of the group’s transfer tax policy and related requirements.
    • CIPC compliance and changes (i.e. directors, new entities, year-ends, deregistration’s).
    • SARS e-filling coordination and management.
    • SARS audits management and coordination.
    • “Internal audit” functions as and when required.
    • Championing the group’s ESG drive.

    • Technical accounting support to the Head of Finance.
    • International tax support (Kenya, Zambia etc.).
    • Finance related SOP’s & Drafting of policies.
    • VAT efficiency monitoring and optimization.
    • FNB banking portal – updating of master data (adding new cards etc.).
    • Maintaining Ultimate Beneficial Ownership status at the various banks & CIPC.
    • Ad-hoc support to the HOF, CFO and CEO.
    • Managing access control over BC.

    Minimum requirements:

    • CA (SA) Registration.
    • Minimum of 5-years post article experience.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Deep knowledge of South African regulatory, compliance and IFRS for SME requirements.
    • Strong risk identification skills.
    • Strong project management skills.
    • Driven to get tasks and projects done effectively and efficiently.
    • Strong communication skills.

    Are you passionate about sales and have a deep appreciation for Fine Wine? We've got an exciting opportunity for a Hybrid Sales Consultant to join the sales team in the Coastal ,KwaZulu-Natal area.

    Responsibilities 

    • Effectively execute call procedures, in accordance with the SOP on pre, during and post call procedures.
    • Effectively execute sales levers at outlet, in accordance with the SOP according to customer call procedure.
    • Collect, capture, and maintain accuracy of all wines listed on all wine lists in your sales area as per the wine list data base SOP.
    • Effectively execute stock allocation, by managing the stock allocation as per RSM requirements and stock allocation report.
    • Log all calls and capturing interaction with customers on the handheld device as per SOP and RSM requirements.
    • New product introduction, vintage changes, and upliftment procedure to be carried out as per SOP.
    • Client Trade visits to be done as per the RSM’s requirements and according to SOP.
    • Deliver customer satisfaction by call cycle management. Effective planning of the call cycle as per contact and coverage SOP.
    • Plan and prioritize, demonstrate abilities to manage competing demands.
    • Deliver customer satisfaction by assisting new customers in opening accounts, as per SOP on new accounts.
    • Recording and promptly acting upon customers’ complaints, queries and requests and feedback accordingly as per Communication SOP and contact grid.
    • Identifying and execute promotional opportunities/requirements as per the customers’ needs and promotional SOP.
    • Identify training needs of the customer and execute according to a training plan.
    • Understand the sales strategy as well as your personal sales target by customer and brand and deliver the result.
    • Make yourself aware of the dress code and adhere to it (smart casual) as per SOP.
    • Manage and take care of company assets including car, laptop, and handheld devices as per SOP.
    • Submit all expense reports on time as per SOP.

    Qualifications and experience

    • Grade 12.
    • Diploma relating to Sales, Marketing, Hospitality management or Food and Beverage management.
    • Liquor Industry and wine Knowledge.
    • Selling, Coaching, and Negotiation.
    • 2-3 years sales and merchandising experience in a related FMCG environment.
    • CWA Certificate Wine Course.
