    IAM & PAM Lead Analyst

    The Role:

    • The IAM & PAM Lead Analyst is a key position within the Information Security function, responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of Apex’s Identity & Privileged Access Management (IAM & PAM) frameworks.
    • This role covers both user identity lifecycle and privileged access governance across the organization.
    • It will report directly to the Identity & Privileged Access Manager and work closely with global stakeholders in IT, Security, Risk, and Compliance.

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    Identity & Access Management (IAM)

    • Lead operational IAM activities, including joiner-mover-leaver processes, access provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and periodic access reviews.
    • Collaborate with IT and HR systems to ensure alignment and automation of identity lifecycle workflows.
    • Participate in IAM governance efforts and help design access policies and controls for both enterprise and cloud applications.
    • Support continuous improvement and maturity of IAM processes and tools.

    Privileged Access Management (PAM)

    • Oversee the privileged access lifecycle for critical systems, including administration of Apex’s enterprise PAM solution (CyberArk).
    • Drive the global implementation and optimisation of PAM tools, controls, and automation.
    • Maintain the integrity of privileged access processes including provisioning, session monitoring, credential management, and access certifications.
    • Identify, assess, and remediate risks associated with privileged access.
    • Lead audits and compliance reviews related to privileged and elevated access.
    • Create and maintain PAM policies, standards, and operational documentation.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to regional teams and end-users on PAM best practices.

    Experience and Knowledge:

    • 5–8 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with a strong focus on Privileged Access Management.
    • Deep understanding of IAM/PAM principles, role-based access control, authentication methods, and zero-trust architecture.
    • Demonstrated expertise with CyberArk.
    • Experience leading PAM deployments in large, complex environments.
    • Strong familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and cloud access management.
    • Experience in the financial services or highly regulated industry is a strong advantage.
    • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working across IT, InfoSec, and business teams.
    • High attention to detail, well-organised, and effective at managing competing priorities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • CyberArk Defender, CyberArk Sentry or relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM and CIAM will be encouraged.

    Senior Administrator - Accounting & Reconciliations

    Summary of the position

    • The primary responsibility of the Accounting and Reconciliations Senior Administrator is to reconcile and manage the unit trust fund , Hedge and Offshore Fund accounts within Funds Services.
    • The individual will be required to reconcile the investor and fund transactions; bank reconciliation and fund units efficiently, accurately and within daily deadlines; as well as setting up and ensuring checklists and standards are adhered to.

    Outline of main duties and responsibilities

    The Accounting and Reconciliations Senior Administrator – Transfer Agency will be expected to:

    • Maintain daily Bank Reconciliations
    • Maintain Daily Stock Reconciliations
    • Prepare daily repurchase/commission/income distribution payment reconciliations
    • Investor payments and collections – including manual payments
    • Adhering to strict turnaround times in respect of queries reported to clients;
    • Investigate and provide feedback on all reconciliation items – bank, stock, commission, etc.
    • Achieving deliverables against agreed deadlines and managing of expectations with clients;
    • Follow-up and ensure that client queries and any reconciliation items are resolved timeously and efficiently;
    • Ensuring that daily, monthly and quarterly checklists are completed within the SLA and signed off;
    • Provide input and assistance on accounting-related projects;
    • Set-up of new fund and client GL, Bank Reconciliation and testing
    • Work directly with the fund accounting team to ensure the correct application of distributions and timelines;
    • Handling ad hoc requests and requirements;
    • Flexibility to work non-standard working hours and South African public holidays;
    • Checking all outputs for accuracy and completeness;
    • High levels of engagement with both Maitland clients and the certain Investors
    • Support and input to project work such as system upgrades and taking on of new clients.
    • Develop a strong working relationship with the other Apex Offices.

    Skills and experience required

    The successful candidate will:

    • An Accounting degree or diploma or currently studying towards degree (at least 1st year completed successfully)
    • A minimum of 4 years experience ideally gained in a Unit Trust/Financial Services environment
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal),Ideally exposure to a client services/call center environment
    • Previous bank reconciliation or accounting experience with exposure to a Unit Trust or Hedge Fund environment is advantageous
    • Strong accounting and analytical skills essential
    • Strong accounting reconciliation skills essential
    • A track record of successfully working within a team
    • A good working knowledge of MS Office, Pastel. Accurate or any other bank reconciliation system
    • Above average communication skills (written and verbal)

    Portfolio Marketing Manager

    About the Role

    • We’re looking for a commercially minded and execution-focused Product Marketing Manager to join our Portfolio Marketing team.
    • This role will be instrumental in driving go-to-market (GTM) strategy, positioning, and messaging for our Fintech and digital platforms across the financial services ecosystem.

    • Develop differentiated messaging frameworks and value propositions tailored to buyer personas across the fintech lifecycle.

    • Create and maintain sales collateral, pitch decks, battlecards, and training materials to support Client facing and sales teams. Collaborate with the Demand Marketing team to ensure alignment with campaign messaging.

    Market Intelligence:

    • Extract ongoing competitor and market research from product team to inform positioning, pricing, and content strategy. Feed insights back into product roadmap discussions and campaign planning.

    Campaign Collaboration:

    Required Experience and Skills

    • 3–5 years of experience in B2B product marketing in a SaaS or fintech business.
    • Strong understanding of the fintech landscape, including digital platforms, tokenisation, and regulatory considerations.
    • Good understanding of and strong interest in Fintech solutions such as blockchain, tokenization etc.

    Senior Security Engineer

    Key duties and responsibilities:

    • Security Engineering
    • Oversight of security tooling, including multiple vendor technologies e.g., Mimecast, Tessian and Netskope and public cloud security tools (such as Azure Security Center, Conditional Access and MCAS).
    • Designing and implementing security tooling as well as strategic vision for toolsets.
    • Ensure cloud security tooling is delivering the security value/reducing loss exposure and has the appropriate people, process, and metrics to prove it is designed and operating effectively.

    • Strong Experience with security tooling e.g., Tessian, Mimecast and Netskope.
    • In depth understanding of cloud security across major cloud providers (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP) as evidenced by industry certifications (AZ-500, MS-500 etc.)
    • Wide range of experience in Security roles with a focus on Cloud security, CI/CD and Software Security.
    • Knowledge of industry standards with a focus on SOC II, ISO27001 and NIST.
    • Knowledge of IAM and PAM tools such as SailPoint and CyberArk would be advantageous.

    • We are seeking a Fund Accountant, reporting to a Manager within the Fund Accounting Division of Apex to prepare accurate portfolio valuations and financial statements.
    • The Fund Accountant role involves preparations of accurate portfolio valuations on a timely basis.

    The Role and Responsibilities

    • To act as a member of the Regulatory Compliance team, in support of Apex Guernsey and its main business entities, providing administrative support to colleagues based in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and contributing regulatory compliance function.

    Senior Risk Manager

    • This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk Manager to be a member of the Local Risk Management team under the Risk Function.
