    Receiving and Inventory Controller - JHB

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric – any degree/diploma in inventory control will be beneficial;
    • Knowledge of Accpac is beneficial;
    • Strong Excel skills, i.e. know how to use filters, pivot tables, sorting, and presentation of data in graphs and tables;
    • Experienced with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office. This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills;
    • Knowledge of the import/export processes, with experience in this field;
    • Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting inventory and payments to creditors;
    • Possess good inventory skills, accurate data capturing skills and organizational skills;
    • Possess excellent people and communication skills, as this position will require working with staff at all Office Services branches;
    • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, including the ability to prioritize, organize and follow through;
    • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision, while working cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Expedites (daily) all outstanding Purchase Orders received from Demand Planner. All late deliveries are communicated with the Supply Chain Solutions team and the receiving branch;
    • Monitoring and documenting all stock movements into and out of the warehouse and ensuring compliance to company procedures;
    • Capture and post all Receipt transactions using the PO, supplier delivery note/invoice and POD received from every branch; Liaise with all branches for POD documentation;
    • Check and post all inventory transactions provided by the Logistics administrator.
    • Ensures that all products match the company PO & supplier invoice before receipting. Queries are resolved timeously to ensure stock received can be packed away and used for operations and sales orders;
    • Liaise with Goods Receiving, Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Controllers, Receiving Quality Controller and/or Operations Controllers for any queries on deliveries / transfers / returns / internal usage / stock counts;
    • Manages and posts Inter-branch transfers (Transfer and Transfer Receipt). Communicate any delays with the relevant branches / departments, / demand planner. Weekly checks that all transactions sent have been posted, and monthly checks before stock counts at each branch.
    • Liaise with Distribution distribution clerk for all transfers to branches to ensure the best cost of delivery is quoted.

    Group Logistics Manager - JHB

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Minimum 10 years of working experience with a warehouse (cross dock) operations, with distribution and replenishment ordering.
    • A relevant degree / diploma in Logistics / Warehousing / Supply Chain or an equivalent will be beneficial.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in stock management and an understanding of the financial and operational impacts.
    • Advanced Knowledge of Accpac, Sage Inventory Advisor, Granite WMS or equivalent systems & processes required.
    • Experience with other software packages including Windows, and Microsoft Office (Advanced level of Excel is essential to ensuring success in the role).
    • Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the warehouse, logistics and distribution process.
    • Ability to reconcile stock transactions.
    • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, including the ability to prioritize, organize and follow through.
    • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision, while working cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
    • Ability to lead a team in multiple locations (matrix organisation management).

    Operations Manager - Nelspruit

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Clear criminal record
    • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the cleaning industry
    • Clear criminal record / Valid drivers license / Own reliable vehicle;
    • A qualification in Operations/Business Management;
    • MS Office proficient (Outlook / Word / Excel)
    • Good interpersonal skills / A good communicator / Excellent leading and supervising skills

    • CSI - Customer Service Intelligence
    • Develop and maintain systems to ensure client service level agreement adhered to at all times.
    • Ensure efficient Customer Service Intelligence, that is accurate, real time and valuable information, is provided to the clients.
    • Develop and maintain relationship with client contact person and accounts person.
    • Establish and monitor a cleaning plan for each building in accordance with the service level agreements.
    • Conduct site visits of allocated sites and report on activities, results and recommendations.
    • Manage delivery of cleaning chemicals and consumables to sites. Manage availability and condition of site equipment.
    • Manage the entire start up process of all new contracts to include staff recruitment, induction, work schedules etc.
    • Control and management of Company assets and full knowledge of insurance requirements related thereto.
    • Manage area performance against agreed targets and budgets, and within policies and standards.
    • Manage direct expenses and overheads, and all factors affecting the profitable performance of the area.
    • Achieve monthly non contractual revenue targets; Maintain existing customer base and ensure up selling on existing contracts.
    • Manage all staff reporting to this position so as to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities.
    • Manage Industrial relations in area; Manage staff scheduling to include monitoring of time and attendance, leave schedules, overtime etc.
    • Implement cleaner work schedules and evaluate and manage performance.
    • Adhere to company policy and procedures and Servest Group values.
