Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Diagnostics: Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment and software to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues in Volkswagen vehicles.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations, as well as complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and other critical components.
• Technical Documentation: Interpret and apply information from technical manuals and service bulletins to ensure repairs meet Volkswagen's standards.
• Customer Communication: Clearly explain diagnostic findings and repair options to service advisors and customers, ensuring they understand the issues and proposed solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and team members to address complex vehicle issues and share knowledge.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest advancements in Volkswagen vehicle technology and diagnostic techniques through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certification: A valid trade certificate in motor mechanics or a related field is essential.
• Experience: Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing Volkswagen vehicles. Experience with other brands like Audi or Porsche is advantageous.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods, with the ability to use various hand tools, precision measurement tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Physical Stamina: Capability to handle various tools and heavy equipment, with flexibility to work long shifts when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Management: Oversee all aspects of the New Vehicle Sales Department to ensure the achievement of customer enthusiasm, owner loyalty, and sales and profit goals.
• Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to boost passenger vehicle sales and enhance brand visibility.
• Profitability: Manage the department profitably, ensuring a high level of productivity in the Passenger Vehicle Sales department.
• Customer Satisfaction: Establish and maintain excellent customer service levels to ensure a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and foster customer enthusiasm.
• Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate the sales team to achieve their highest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Design

• Lead and manage all aspects of large, complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan aligned with overall deliverables and project lifecycle.
• Participate in project meetings, ensuring familiarity with all contractual and commercial terms.
• Define project scope, implementation plans, key objectives, and associated costs.
• Manage project design, engineering processes, and coordination of relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee risk assessments, maintain project risk registers, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Allocate and manage resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate procurement of major and minor equipment, as well as subcontractor services.
• Oversee logistics, including transportation, shipping, and work permits.
• Ensure seamless handover of projects to site teams.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Track and report on project progress, highlighting deviations from the original plan.
• Monitor project financials, including cash flow, supplier and customer invoices, guarantees, and bonds.
• Maintain accurate records, meeting minutes, and systematic project documentation.
• Ensure effective utilization of resources and adjust project strategies as needed.
• Manage project resourcing, including staff, equipment, and site facilities.
• Ensure strict compliance with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards.
• Implement risk management strategies, including site security, employee safety, and insurance coverage.

Qualifications & Experience:

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• B Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably
• 3–5 years of proven Project Management experience in an electrical EPC environment.
• Professional Registration: SACPCMP Registered – Professional Construction Manager / Construction Project Manager.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering in LV, MV, HV, reticulation, substations, and overhead line projects.
• Practical experience in risk analysis techniques.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management advantageous
