    Legal Manager: Legal Services

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Laws / legislation: Draft, research, advise and revise 
    • Litigation: Manage the process and draft court proceedings

    Head of Transactional and Savings Products

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, IT, and compliance, to ensure seamless product delivery and implementation. 
    • Develop the product strategy and roadmap (detailed product and project plan) to ensure seamless execution and clear product direction

    Company Secretary (DU)

    Job Responsibilities 
    Strategic Alignment 

    • Support the Board in setting the strategic direction by providing relevant information and ensuring a set timeline for strategic setting and review in line with applicable legislation. 
    • Facilitate communication of strategy to relevant stakeholders and regulators 
    • Advise the Board on applicable laws and regulations applicable to the strategic direction of Postbank. 

    Corporate Governance

    Board Support and Administration 

    • Prepare the Annual Calendar for Board and Committee meetings.

    • Ensure efficient management of function / resources in accordance with the stipulations of the Public Finance Management Act, fraud prevention and risk management principles, corporate governance, legislation, agreements, company policies, practices, procedures, regulations, etc. 
    • Ensure that Company Letterheads are updated with the latest information of the Directors.  

    Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience 
    Qualifications and Experience: 

    • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. B. Com/Law, LLB) A Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. 
    • Chartered Institute of Secretaries (CIS) Diploma 
    • Membership of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IODSA) or the Institute of Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa will be an added advantage 
    • Minimum of 5-8 years post qualification experience in a similar position, preferably in the Financial Services industry

    ​Senior Project Manager

    Job Responsibilities 

    • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of the Section 16 banking license project. 
    • Develop and maintain an integrated master programme plan, covering multiple interdependent workstreams (regulatory, legal, governance, operational readiness, IT, risk, finance, HR, etc.). 
    • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, issues, change control, and communications using best-practice project and programme management methodologies. 
    • Track progress against key project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.

    • Identify and manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate unresolved issues as required. 
    • Support readiness assessments, gap analysis, quality assurance, and internal audit reviews. 

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Project Management, or a related field (essential). 
    • Recognised Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, MSP). 
    • At least 10 years’ experience in project or programme management in the financial services sector, with at least one full-cycle project involving a banking license application or major regulatory transformation in South Africa. 
    • Demonstrated ability to work with executive stakeholders, boards, and government departments.

    Knowledge and understanding of:

    • Knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks, including the Banks Act, PFMA, FAIS, and FIC Act.

    • Knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks, including the Banks Act, PFMA, FAIS, and FIC Act 
    • Knowledge in requirements elicitation, validation and verification methods
