    Superbalist - Community Manager

    Responsible for: 

    • Manage and monitor daily consumer engagements, content planning and scheduling across the various Superbalist Social Media platforms.
    • Support and assist the Social Media Editor and content departmental teams in briefing + conceptualizing + planning of social media campaigns for both editorial and marketing needs. 
    • Support the Social Media Editor in briefing + conceptualizing + planning of social media campaigns for sponsored content where necessary.
    • Responsible for social media-related administration including but not limited to monthly financial recons, ad-hoc influencer engagement + monthly reporting
    • Monitor competitive communities and practices to translate them into actionable engagement opportunities for the brand.
    • Responsible for campaign management, specifically across menswear, kids and apartment departments.
    • Execute on creative briefs for social media content where necessary for video and stills content.

    Key Requirements: 

    • An in-depth knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube
    • 1+ years’ experience in a similar position managing the social channels of a brand
    • Tertiary degree or Diploma advantageous
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Proficiency in Google Suite (including Google Sheets, Google Slides + Google Docs)
    • Understanding of how to use social media management tools like Sprout Social + Hootsuite.

    Superbalist - Head of Buying

    Job Description:

    • Work closely with the Head of Planning to develop and execute the retail strategy in line with the business strategic targets of sales, margins and stocks.
    • Define the sourcing and product strategy that will deliver the company targets and lead a high-performance team toward achieving them.
    • Work closely with the planning team to drive in season trade, influence promotional activity and support the OTB buying principles.
    • Engage closely with marketing and editorial to ensure retail alignment with the communication strategy.

    • Aggressively trade the business by driving and implementing initiatives to reach company's financial goal
    • Analyse and report on trading patterns, advises teams and ensures appropriate action is taken to unforeseen sales reactions.
    • Acts in pivotal role for the CEO, teams and internal functions to co-ordinate projects and provide two-way communication.
    • Builds and maintains a strong and varied network of contacts. Communicates with all to achieve win-win situations.

    Qualification and Skills:

    • Relevant degree
    • 10+ years Buying and product development experience (4+yrs leadership/managerial experience)
    • Strong numeracy and analytical skills (excel expert)
    • Working within budget guidelines. Manages budgets and projects effectively and can communicate status clearly
    • Proven experience leading teams to succeed through clear coaching, development and strategy
    • Analytical thinker with strong business acumen with the ability to use innovation to solve complex problems
    • Ability to drive, negotiate, question, evaluate and communicate ideas and initiatives
    • Strong and convincing presentation skills – able to get ideas across quickly and effectively and gain relevant buy-in and support.
    • The proven ability to negotiate and drive performance of external as well as internal teams.

    Superbalist - Head of Paid Media

    Your responsibilities will include the following:

    • Manage and grow the in-house Paid performance team.
    • Manage and optimise a large, multi-million Rand Paid Media marketing budget across various channels to meet Business KPIs.
    • Managing all Paid Channels to drive high converting traffic that drives revenue to all platforms (Desktop Web, Mobi Web, and Android, iOS & HMS Apps).
    • Develop & Implement overall Paid Media and Mobile App Acquisition strategy, annual goals, KPIs, reporting needs, and working cross-functionally across stakeholders including Brand, BI, Retail and Product teams
    • Ownership of all channel tracking and briefing in any new marketing integration requirements from the Product team.
    • Liaising with the Brand team to drive Superbalist.com brand awareness and assist in keeping superbalist.com top of mind.
    • Daily, weekly & monthly operational, and management reporting on all Paid Media and Marketing Channels.
    • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Paid Channels success teams to effectively and efficiently meet acquisition and retention growth whilst supporting the company growth needs.
    • Monitoring all Paid Channels to analyse results, deep-dive performance problems, recommending solutions, implementing solutions, and ultimately monitoring problems to correction.
    • Profiling, identifying and testing new potential Paid Channels. 
    • Own all tracking and analytics of Paid Channels whilst assisting other channel managers where possible.
    • Assist with overall Reporting strategy requirements including Google Analytics and MMPs
    • Audience management to effectively target new users and high value returning users (Platform based audiences & owned back-end data)

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A tertiary degree is required preferably within Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
    • 6 - 8 years’ experience in PPC positions
    • Experience managing a high-performing team
    • Experience on the following platforms

    Superbalist - Digital Pattern Maker

    Key Responsibilities 

    • A skilled worker that can create Manual Paper Patterns as well as Electronic Patterns on Gerber.
    • Broad knowledge of pattern making in every category is key – Ladies Dresses, evening gowns, Jackets, Coats, Pants, Skirts, Blouses etc.
    • Interpret the designer’s detailed brief and construct a pattern
    • Ability to accurately trace off from Overseas samples and make required adjustments to the traced pattern
    • Creating and maintaining a master pattern library that enables quick referencing to speed up pattern making process
    • Need to think out of the box when it comes to simplifying construction but keeping the same look – for a better price and easier for production
    • Knowledge of an array of fabric when it comes to the stretch and shrinkage reactions
    • Able to adjust on the pattern according to the reaction of fabric and knowledge of grading
    • Work closely with the seamstress on easier construction and ensure quality is up to standard
    • Need to supply all pattern measurement as per required spec provided
    • Supply lengths of elastic, zips, binding, trims, gauging, belt length etc.
    • Fit styles with Designer and/or Garment Technologist depending on complexity of the style and the alterations.
    • Process all pattern alterations as per required timeously according to priority.
    • Once style is Sealed, and pattern is graded, need to check the graded nest before bulk is cut
    • Making sure the pattern is balanced and according to required spec before signing off for production.

    Key Requirements 

    • Diploma in Clothing Design / Patternmaking 
    • Gerber Accunest Computerised pattern making experience is a requirement
    • Minimum 3 years Patternmaking experience
    • Minimum of 3 years experience working on Geber
    • Worked in a design centre / manufacturer supplying major retail chain stores would be advantageous
    • Understanding of Customer Body Measurement charts and how this affects the fit of the garment
    • Basic mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals, ability to apply concept of basic geometry)
