    Unit Manager: Sandton

    Key Focus Areas:

    • Ensure existing and new staff are trained regarding Patient Control Sheet System
    • Monthly reports must be drawn up and sent to the Regional Manager
    • Ensure staff adhere to the Time and Attendance system
    • Draw up and ensure that the Regional Manager has been supplied with a copy of the draft roster monthly
    • Advise staff of current and revised Company Policies and Procedures
    • Arrange with HR Business Partner for Unit staff to attend training courses and or congresses
    • Recruitment of new staff
    • Supervise and evaluate the quality of the patient care provided
    • Plan and conduct performance appraisals twice yearly and provide Head Office with copies
    • Ensure accurate monitoring and recording of stock in accordance with Head Office Procedures
    • Ordering of stock
    • Strict adherence to capturing DataWise information 
    • Maintenance of Kidney Wise program
    • Ensure strict adherence to all company Policies 

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse or with HPCSA as a Graduate Clinical Technologist
    • Previous Management Experience Advantageous
    • Nephrology Course (Essential)
    • BHSc Clinical Technology (Nephrology)
    • MS package (Essential)
    • Willing to work flexible hours if necessary
    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport essential
    • Renal experience (Essential)
    • BLS certificate (Validity Essential)

    Area Sales Executive based in Gauteng (Johannesburg Area)

    • This is a full-time, permanent position based in Gauteng, reporting to the Regional Sales & Operations Manager (Gauteng). The successful incumbent will be responsible for driving sales and promoting the portfolio of Regional Anesthesia Solutions, Injectable Drugs, and Plasma Volume Replacement (PVR) products to healthcare providers.
    • This role requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) in the medical field.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Develop B. Braun’s footprint and sales across the Johannesburg Region
    • Taking ownership of the territory to drive sales and growth
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Anesthetists, Pharmacists, ICU Specialists, Procurement Managers, and Nursing Staff
    • Achieve and exceed revenue targets across the product range
    • Promote and sell Regional Anaesthesia Products, Injectable Drugs, and PVR products to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the Johannesburg Region
    • Maintain market and competitor analysis, and providing regular feedback
    • Manage key projects
    • Successfully launch new products into the market
    • Provide training, presentations, in-services, and education to end users
    • Ensure that regular in-service training programs and workshops are facilitated to maintain and update the customer knowledgeable about B. Braun’s products
    • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, new technologies and product innovations

    Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

    • BSc Degree or related tertiary qualification
    • Proven experience of a minimum of 3 to 4 years in medical sales, particularly in a hospital environment
    • Strong understanding of the public and private healthcare sectors in South Africa
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a large geographical region.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Sales and negotiation expertise with a consultative approach
    • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance
    • Analytical skills to assess market trends and develop targeted strategies
    • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to provide solutions and value to healthcare professionals
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-matrix company in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    Area Sales Executive for Renal Division based in Pretoria and Outlying Regions

    • This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Pretoria and Outlying Regions, reporting to the Regional Sales & Operations Manager (Gauteng). The successful incumbent will work with clinicians, nursing staff and allied health to promote Renal solutions.
    • This will include identifying customer needs and opportunities, presenting product information, and utilizing sales experience to achieve revenue targets. 
    • In addition, the ASE will work with other Sales Specialists, Clinical Educators and Marketing to ensure successful product training and implementations, with a focus on both growing and maintaining the territory.

    Duties and Responsibilities: Area Sales Executive

    • Developing B. Braun’s footprint and sales across the Pretoria and Outlying Regions

    • Developing relationships with key opinion leaders in clinical and purchasing areas, as well as C-Suite executives
    • Achieving revenue targets across the product range (Renal Products)

    • Providing training, presentations, in-services, and education to end users
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Avitum Product solutions to healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics
    • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies related to Renal related products
    • Promote and sell B. Braun products (cross divisional) to all allocated customers as per defined strategies across the Pretoria and Outlying Regions
    • Provide initial and continuous on the job staff training on Clinical Application to Avitum Provider Dialysis Centres
    • Ensure that regular in-service training programs and workshops are facilitated to maintain and update the customer knowledgeable about B. Braun’s products

    Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

    • Registered Nurse, a Nephrology Qualified Nurse, or Qualified Clinical Technologist (Nephrology)
    • Valid Professional registration with HPCSA or SANC (as applicable)
    • Proven experience of a minimum of 3 in medical sales
    • Strong knowledge of the medical field and healthcare landscape in Pretoria and Outlying Regions
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a large geographical region
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
