    Senior Reefer Documentation Controller

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Execute various export and import customer service processes as per global design across teams.
    • Monitor assigned exports/imports performance against KPIs and make recommended corrective actions.
    • Conduct and assist with training on cargo shipment documentation as per manuals, guidelines, and policies.
    • Execute all documentation processes and submissions for operational tasks.
    • Complete and pass relevant customs and shipping documents as per legislation.
    • Ensure all receiver documentation requirements are met.
    • Ensure compliance with authorities regarding the approval and signing of documentation.
    • Coordinate with shipping lines regarding waybills/bills.
    • Email and courier documents to customers and consignees.
    • Provide customer care and respond to queries.
    • Attend industry-related meetings and maintain international protocols.
    • Be able to lead a team and handle a large customer comprising of a group of exporters.

    ​Key Requirements:

    • +5 years of experience in documentation, specifically in the perishable fruit industry.
    • Previous experience working in a large organization.
    • In-depth knowledge of perishable documentation and its processes.
    • Sound industry knowledge relating to fruit and vegetables, with airfreight knowledge being an advantage.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
    • English fluency written and spoken is a must.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Understanding of seasonal work and the balance between shoulder periods.
    • Presentation skills to share results of own work with the team.
    • Understanding of cost and implications of costs surrounding our processes and various stakeholders.

    Inland Operations Manager

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Drive Inland Delivery & LCL functional outcomes:

    • Execute inland first mile solutions in a reliable, predictable and efficient manner.
    • Set and lead teams through clearly defined annual targets rooted in objectives balancing quality, cost, and consistency.
    • Monitor service quality of Inland Delivery across customers and act on non-compliance to defined product or customer standards.
    • Ensure Delivery teams provide speedy Inland order issue and exception resolution with CX through case management.
    • Work with internal stakeholders to fine-tune all facets of running Inland Delivery: Safety (HSSE), Control (Finance), Cost (Procurement), Product Standardization (Product / Sales), Process Efficiency (CI) etc.
    • Ensure LCL shipments are executed within established timelines meeting customer and organizational expectations.
    • Full ownership of job costing and invoicing for LCL and Inland shipments.

    Develop and sustain a capable Inland Delivery organization:

    • Build teams with strong orientation towards delivering superior Inland customer quality.
    • Identify / attract and retain talent and equip them with an ambitious learning plan; offering constant opportunities to practice innovation and change leadership.
    • Ensure Inland Delivery team(s) are trained and practice in accordance with global standards for managing inland orders, safety, and local legal regulations.
    • Map local risks (structural, seasonal etc.) to develop and maintain business continuity plans.
    • Drive cost to serve focus:
    • Work consistently to reduce cost to serve to remain competitive on both quality and cost in changing market conditions.
    • Manage Inland Delivery capacity according to guidelines from procurement, demand and service requirements.
    • Actively monitor and manage volume trajectory of customer base; work with CX and Sales to reduce churn and expedite new and additional business conversion.
    • Constantly feed timely market and customer information back to Product and Sales.

    Someone with:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a team in logistics operations
    • Strong background in Inland delivery and LCL
    • Inland-savvy mindset to quickly convert opportunities to business impacts
    • Ability to lead, coach and motivate large teams including leaders or others
    • Ability to operate successfully in a complex environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders across several levels
    • Ability to prepare and execute a business plan to run a large operation with variable demands
    • Lead an organization to prepare and respond with resilience to a business environment influenced by various external factors

    Area Head of Transportation

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Leadership: Lead the delivery organization, including warehouse, depot, and transportation operations.
    • Financial Management: Oversee financial reporting and performance, ensuring economic efficiency through budget management and cost control.
    • Talent Development: Promote company culture, manage talent development, and succession planning.
    • Compliance: Ensure a safe and compliant environment, adhering to Health & Safety/ISO standards.
    • Customer Relations: Manage customer relationships, ensuring quality and timely implementation of projects.
    • Continuous Improvement: Implement methodologies to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and streamline operations.
    • Data and Performance Management:  Analyzing transportation routes, modes, and schedules using data analytics to minimize costs and ensure prompt deliveries. This involves leveraging data-driven insights for route optimization and carrier selection.
    • Sustainable Practices: Implementing solutions that support sustainable transportation practices, such as optimizing fuel consumption and reducing emissions through better route planning and vehicle maintenance.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Someone with:

    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management
    • At least 5 - 10 years’ experience in contract logistics, including depot, warehousing, and distribution
    • Industry expertise in supply chain (freight forwarding, warehousing)
    • Extensive operational knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution, and warehouse management systems (WMS)
    • Knowledge of intricate design of the warehouse system and WMS.
    • Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS)
    • An entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset
    • Stakeholder management and collaboration in a matrix organisation
    • Strong customer centric mindset
