    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Receive stock part orders into the system and place in physical location in the engineering store  
    • Send out weekly stock reports to plant
    • Do daily cycle count reviews on Eng stock as well as Consignment stock, discrepancies need to be investigated and resolved asap
    • Assist with stock counts, cycle counts, audits, and returns to suppliers  
    • Submit new stock requests, create bins, and allocate spares to shelves with the part identifications
    • Request quotes for empty stock bins to be replenished and follow up with delivery dates  
    • Daily review of empty bin list target < 5 empty bins at a time
    • Ensure paperwork for orders are in place and send to buyer for costing after confirming delivery and paperwork are correct  
    • Ensure that assigned area always adheres to Good Manufacturing Standards (GMP), 24-hour turnaround on received items to cost
    • Ensure security, good housekeeping, and safety of stock in the store 
    • Daily issuing of afterhours deliveries and stock requests from plant on start of shift
    • Lead the junior store man and support where needed
    • Create production requisitions and issue on the correct asset number as per stock requests
    • Manage the rotatable stock items like scale calibrations, forklift load testing, pallet jack repairs, gas and lifting equipment registers
    • Do daily coal yard usage and quality inspections and report back to the manager
    • Move and pick up spares from other sites or Vendors as required

    Receive, store and issue direct parts  

    • Receive orders into the system
    • Fill in all incoming and outgoing stock in the stock register book and verify all stock quantities on bin cards when issuing out
    • Store direct parts where it is controlled and issue direct parts to Artisans following the procedure
    • Receive and notify plant of direct order deliveries as it is received, keep track of orders via the direct orders register book, and
    • Verify that the order correlates to what has physically been delivered to site before receiving items on the system  
    • Ensure paperwork for direct orders correspond to the spare that is delivered to site, receive only items that are physically on site and
    • Follow up with outstanding items to update the costing team

    • Compile reports and ad-hoc activities        
    • Ensure performance standards and performance indicators for the different mission success factors are identified and measured        
    • Identify the measurements needed and ensure that the Maintenance Manager/Plant Engineer is updated with these daily, weekly and monthly (CPR382, CPR853)        
    • Ensure the completeness and control of the technical library        
    • Ensure the completeness and filing of all calibrations
