Job Description

• The ideal candidate should be commercially-minded
• Must have working knowledge of the Companies Act
• Experience in general transactional work, drafting agreements, resolutions and other transaction documentation
• Possess the ability to manage work streams on transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing of legal agreements applicable to the different business units
• Advising on the impact of legislation applicable to the different business units and their clients
• General legal advisor responsibilities
• Drafting of legal opinions
• Engaging and briefing of Senior Counsel
• Legal documentation management
• Legal risk management reporting
• Presentations on various legal topics and developments to the different business units
• Assist in investigations
• Other areas will include contract, tenders, non disclosure and confidentiality agreements

Requirements:

• LLB
• Admitted Attorney
• 2 years post articles experience
• Corporate commercial
• The candidate should be a good communicator who is numerate, organized, meticulous and capable of working with a broad range of professionals
• Driven, Ambitious, tenacious and keen to move in-house
