    Manager Bakery Medium

    Job description

    Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Manager Bakery Medium at their Essential Foods, Worcester Bakery. The successful candidate will be accountable for the profitable management of a medium branch within the constraints of company policy and for determining the most effective use of the resource available in order to meet the specified targets. Includes the management of a full sales function. Normally reports to Functional Manager.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Managed and controlled product quality assurance.
    • Forecasted product demand and sales; approved and implemented brand plan.
    • Maintained operations services levels and optimised assets, vehicles, plant, machinery and equipment.
    • Optimised manufacturing, distribution, sales of products.
    • Approved and managed profitability budgets and capital projects and managed team.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    Eight years relevant experience.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Degree in Business Management or similar qualification.

    Business Systems Specialist I

    Job description

    Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Business Systems Specialist I at their Pioneer Foods, Groceries, Glacier in Tygervalley. The successful candidate will be responsible for the governance of system controls, policies and procedures. Maintain system controls and authorization administration. Co-ordinates activities to fulfill the identified objectives applying technical theoretical and managerial skills to maintain system controls and user administration in a business environment. Other functions can include, internal audits, training, master data maintenance, financial process control. A minimum of 5 years SAP experience is a critical requirement for this role as is the ability to operate MS Excel with an intermediate proficiency level eg Pivot Tables and Graph generation.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Managed specified IT related business projects.
    • Monitored specified IT SLA's and IT contracts including Rental agreements.
    • Maintain governance, policy, procedures and risk framework registers.
    • Measured Communicated change control for IT and monthly reporting.
    • Facilitated IT related issue resolution and manage service delivery ito hardware, software, and networks.
    • Trained employees on systems, policies & procedures.
    • Maintain system security/authorizations as well as perform CSA analysis and investigation of non compliance.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    • Five years business systems experience with auditing an added advantage.
    • Strong English proficiency.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    National Diploma in Accounting or study towards National Diploma in Accounting.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience in maintaining IT related system controls; policy and procedures.
    • Knowledge and understanding of SLAs; contracts and agreements.
    • Experience in performing CSA analysis and investigation of non-compliance.
    • Computer skills including SAP, MS Office, etc.

    Pioneer Foods seek a suitably qualified Manager Distribution I at their Essential Foods, Ladysmith Bakery. The successful candidate will co-ordinate the despatch of goods to customers, retail outlets, etc. in conjunction with the sales order, warehousing and transport departments of a medium size operation. Develops itineraries for deliveries that best meet the needs of prompt delivery, effective use of vehicles and fuel consumption. Maintains liaison between sales and manufacturing in the availability of products. Normally reports to Unit Manager.

    SPECIFIC OUTPUTS:

    • Planned distribution incl. products, people, vehicles, routes & customers.
    • Optimised fleet utilization.
    • Executed customer service delivery incl. orders, products, queries & cash.
    • Optimised stock management of final goods.
    • Managed team, equipment and vehicles including crates, pallets, scales and forklifts.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    Five to six years relevant experience.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

    Relevant National Diploma.
