CAPE TOWN. Looking for a Warehouse & Distribution Manager to look after a high bay warehouse for a leading e-commerce company.

This role requires someone with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage and improve the warehousing & distribution of products across the country with a very short lead-time. This is a development role and has the potential to grow into a more senior role within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve distribution networks through effective distribution planning
• Optimize stock levels, on time delivery from suppliers and reduce day stock count counts
• Manage and develop staff looking in terms of operational excellence and efficient use of SAP system
• Drive continuous improvement within the logistics division
• Manage fleet, fuel and cost of fleet maintenance

Requirements:

• BCom (Logistics / Supply Chain)
• 5 years’ experience within a distribution role coupled with 2 years management experience
• SAP (Plant Maintenance/TM)
• Excellent management and analytical skills

Lead Continuous Improvement within a large manufacturing company looking after LEAN Six Sigma implementations and operations excellence.

Implement your core knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma principles and look at the optimization of the end-end Supply Chain within an exciting role. This role offers the opportunity to work on a National and Global level and mentorship in becoming a leader within the Supply Chain industry. Manage various improvement projects in order to save costs and improve efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the entire Supply Chain operations
• Drive operational excellence within the Supply Chain through the implementation of LEAN/KAIZEN principles
• Drive optimisation within the Logistics division focusing on OTIF as well as cost savings and change management
• Create sustainable improvements within the Supply Chain looking at optimization and change management
• Overall factory and production knowledge is important also looking after raw materials needed for production

Requirements:

• Strictly BEng/BSc Degree (Industrial Engineering) ONLY Academic University Qualifications will be considered by the client
• 7 years’ experience in a Continuous Improvement or Operations Excellence role in Mining or Manufacturing
• Six Sigma Black Belt is a non-negotiable
• Advanced Excel

This role will offer you mentorship within Supply Chain and the opportunity for long terms growth within the company. We are looking for someone with the right attitude – someone who is willing to learn and work hardtop achieve and that has a passion for Supply Chain. Utilise your numerical and analytical skills in order to optimize the Supply Chain and Demand Planning divisions.

Responsibilities:

• Supply chain data analysis and interpretation, comparative studies and data capturing
• Improving operational efficiencies with regards to procedures and ensure that the Supply Chain is optimised
• Research and analysis within the Supply Chain to assist in the solution development phases
• Supply chain benchmarking within the entire value chain

Requirements:

• BCom Honours Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Operations Research/Quantitative Analysis/Applied Mathematics OR BEng/BSc Industrial Engineering Degree

Lead the strategic sourcing as Head of Procurement for one of the household names in FMCG.

Drive strategic procurement objectives for the various divisions. Lead the development for South Africa and Africa. Drive optimisation and cost savings throughout the business and ensure processes and policies are in line with long term business goals. This is an opportunity to lead one of the country’s most well know FMCG brands.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic sourcing team and implement policies and procedures within Procurement driving the strategic goals of the company
• Develop the procurement KPI’s for the group and develop and implement innovative strategies for all divisions
• Lead negotiations and drive innovative cost savings initiatives with a strategic sourcing mind-set; Lead the business on ethical and sustainable Procurement
• Support and develop procurement teams, mentor and grow the teams in order for them to excel at their cost savings achievements also driving improvement of quality, lead time and service delivery

Requirements:

• BCom Supply Chain/Economics
• MBA or MCIPS will be an immense advantage
• FMCG Experience is a NON-NEGOTIABLE
• 10 Years’ experience within strategic sourcing (No more, no less as per client request)
• 4 Years’ Procurement Management experience
• SAP experience is a non-negotiable
• Strong negotiation skills and exceptional Commercial Acumen is required for this role
• Knowledge of Production processes will be an added advantage
