Educational Requirements (Educational / academic qualifications)

• Matric essential
• Formal qualification/s in Project Management advantageous
• Formal courses in IT Software Development or IT Software Products advantageous
• Formal courses in the Financial Industry advantageous
• Formal exposure to human management sciences, including time management, conflict management, team management and creativity techniques preferable
• Formal courses in Agile development advantageous
• Prior Work Experience / Background:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably for at least 2 years, including being responsible for implementation of projects, facilitating projects and related workshops and effectively communicating with all project stakeholders.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, facilitating a project across multiple divisions within an organisation.
• Proven experience in a project environment and teams.

• Compiling and managing the project plan/schedule
• Managing the changes requested
• Managing the impact of change on the organisation

• Managing project resources

• Specifying and overseeing project planning, analysis, execution, implementation and post implementation support
• Management of timesheets
• Building and enhancing the Project Office continually
• Technical / Special Requirements (PC Skills / Product Knowledge / Specific Competencies)
• PMBOK or Prince2 experience will be advantageous
• Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience advantageous

AND

• Extensive understanding of IT software products / development
• SDLC and Implementation experience
• Experience in testing and QA environments

OR

• Experience in the Financial Services Industry
• Proven experience and understanding of organisational change and / or transformation and the tools / frameworks to manage change through the organisation
• Must be competent in workshop facilitation techniques
