    About the Job

    Requirements

    • A vacancy has arisen for a Finance Administrator who will effectively manage the office and finance administrative functions for the operation to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all applicable Rentokil Initial policies and procedures for our Gauteng Region.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Collections of customer debts, dispute resolution management
    • Coordination and processing of all customer sales invoicing
    • Obtain Branch Manager approval for and submit to Shared Service Centre (SSC) with in deadline timeframes of the following:
      • Collation of all monthly payroll inputs (leave management and overtime)
      • Completion of vendor application forms and obtaining Branch manager approval before submitting to the SSC
      • All accounting documentation
    • Completion of all purchase requisitions and all purchase orders (PO’s)
    • Control and supervision of all stock movements investigation and follow-up on variances
    • In line with Rentokil policies and authority matrix
      • Initiate capex
      • Manage and reconciliation petty cash
      • Prepare expense claims
      • Reconcile fuel cards and statements
    • Ensure that customer contract management policies and procedures are adhered to and that all contracts, customer information and documents are safeguarded
    • Submit the filing of all monthly tax returns (PAYE, WHT, VAT) and annual Company tax returns

    Do you have what it takes? If you want to be considered for this role you will need:

    • Bachelor of Commerce degree
    • Accounting diploma
    • Past finance experience an advantage
    • Computer literacy – MS Office, Windows
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong financial numeracy and analytical skills
    • Be structured and organized
    • Ability to work on own initiative
    • Ability to challenge views & make rational arguments
    • Strong demonstration of the values of service, relationships and teamwork
    • Be self- motivated and display a high energy level
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • Team player with a collaborative style
    • Demonstrates the ability to take the initiative
    • Highly developed communication skills (written / verbal / non-verbal)
    • Ability to form strong customer relationships at all levels
