    Business Analyst (CRM EMEA)

    Job description
    Accountabilities

    Accountability 1: Business Analysis

    • Analyze and define requirements based on business needs, budget, and required integration across existing and/or proposed applications, systems, and platformsRequirements lifecycle managementCollaborate with other business analysts, solution designers, developers and team members to communicate business requirements for the purpose of development into solutions in line with the roadmap and standards.Maintain knowledge of industry best practices, through participation in forums and vendor sessions.Provide business process support to the operations teams as required.
    • As a project team member, deliver the desired outcome and support the Release Manager to develop a pathway for a smooth handover to operations
    • Maintain knowledge of vendor product releases and roadmaps
    • Understand and apply business analysis methodologies, i.e framework and approaches. Utilise business process modelling toolsets and techniques.
    • Contribute to the preparation of business cases, justification and cost analysis
    • Define solution requirements in the form of functional, non-functional and transition requirements such that detailed needs are understood.
    • Prepare business cases, justification and cost analysis and present to the business and IT stakeholdersWork with the business stakeholders to enable the development of an understanding of their business processes and systems.Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of solutions in partnership with the business stakeholders.Leverage knowledge of existing application architecture to enhance and optimize business processes and advise on best practicesCommunicate relevant information pertaining to initiatives to the various stakeholders in the region and adopt the relevant communication framework and communication plan to deliver this information.Work with the designated Change Manager to assist in the preparation of change and communication materialsParticipate in the evaluation of new or changed technology solutions to determine the degree of functional fit with Cochlear current and desired target business processesUnderstand the data requirements of the proposed solution(s) and compare that with the stated business requirements.Accountability 5: Project Managementproviding support and consultative adviceoverseeing aspects of the project and assisting with coordination activities where specific domain knowledge would be beneficial to the outcome
    • facilitating project meetings and workshops and documenting agreed outcomes
    • Assist the Project / Program Manager by:
    • Prepare solution gap analysis reports to assist the project team with the assessment of possible alternative solutions

    Accountability 4: Solution Evaluation

    • Participate in internal forums to build skills and knowledge, eg. Business Analyst Community of Interest
    • Maintain an understanding of Change Management practices as they relate to business process and technology change within Cochlear

    Accountability 3: Communication, Knowledge and Change Management

    • Initiate and lead business forums to drive the identification of process improvement opportunities for further consideration.
    • Maintain up to date knowledge of the organisation's strategic business plans and react accordingly to the possible impacts and opportunities on processes and systems.
    • Attend and initiate business forums and meetings to enable an understanding of the business process.

    Accountability 2: Business Process and Collaboration

    • Provide critical analysis of existing business processes for the purpose of identifying process improvement opportunities

    Minimum
    Key Incumbent Requirements:

    • Bachelor degrees in Business, Commerce, Computing or Engineering
    • Working knowledge of BABOK
    • 5 - 8 years of experience working in a mix of technology environments, preferably incorporating integrated digital platforms including e-commerce
    • Demonstrated experience in identifying, researching, evaluating and recommending new solutions.
    • Strong business analysis background, with an ability to grasp the big picture
    • Project planning and specification skills, together with problem solving and analysis
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills
    • High energy, motivated performer
    • High standards to deliver excellence
    • Demonstrated critical thinking

    Ideal

    • Post Graduate qualification
    • Undertaking Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
    • Knowledge of the Healthcare industry
    • Experience with CRM systems and processes
    • Experience working with a virtual team
    • Experience working with large stakeholder teams
    • Experience developing and implementing processes
