Job description

A leading Financial Services company is looking for a Database Administrator with PostgreSQL, SQL, and Linux Skills.

Core Technical Skills:
- PostgreSQL (minimum of 3 years)
- MS SQL (Minimum of 3 years)
- MySQL (Minimum of 3 years)
- Database Security and Data Integrity
- Database Administration
- Documentation (critical skill)
- Performance tuning and Query optimization
- Log shipping
- Data Replication
- Database failover to Disaster recovery site
- Data Recovery
- Slony Replication
- Linux experience (minimum 2 years)
- Relevent Degree/Diploma/Certificate
- Core Business Objectives:
- Ability to work under pressure
- Available 24/7 (Critical Callouts)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player
- Ability to show initiative run with projects from Scoping to deployment
- Good methodology and documentation skills
- Documentation feedback
- Project management
- Own transport
