    Client Service Director

    Job description

    We’re looking for a problem solver, a relationship builder, a strategic thinker, a negotiator, a planner, a communicator, a budgeter, an inspirer, a performer – someone who’s curious and courageous. If you’re a Client Service Director, and have experience at Board level, it’s time to join the team.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Oversee a team of approximately thirty people
    • Drive cohesion, profitability and revenue growth across all THB operating units
    • Manage and grow the agency’s client portfolio, creating year-on-year growth in brands and revenue
    • Develop lasting relationships with key senior clients and brand owners, positioning the agency as the strategic partner and thought leader for their business
    • Lead retainer and fee negotiations with clients
    • Be an inspirational leader that builds an agency team which consistently performs at a high standard
    • Foster integration across agency disciplines and operating units, to ensure cohesive campaign delivery
    • Create a culture that will bring the right people to the agency, inspiring a feeling that anything is possible when you come in to work
    • Problem solve and pursue innovative solutions and ideas for clients

     

    Minimum Requirements

     

    • Board level experience, ideally as a Client Service Director or similar
    • Post-graduate Degree majoring in communication, marketing, advertising or other related Business Sciences
    • The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate having worked effectively within a Board team or equivalent, understanding how to influence such a team of peers
    • Can illustrate occasions / events where they have taken a corporate leadership position, in addition to functional leadership
    • Proven leadership skills with a passion for developing people
    • Track record of generating value for clients and additional profit for the agency
    • Accurate financial and budget control ability
    • Strong Commercial Acumen - can provide tangible evidence of successful P&L accountability
    • Strategically-minded, conceptually and creatively engaged
    • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
    • Sound problem solver with the ability to manage conflict and complex negotiations
