Job description

Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

Credit risk policy

• Develop and maintain consumer credit risk strategy
• Set, establish and monitor credit limit structures and policies
• Build scorecards and analytics models
• Manage and monitor credit risk related projects

Operational support

• Assist the operations with budgeting models
• Support the use of predictive dialler technology in the Collections Call Centre
• Support Vetting, including fraud management processes
• Actively engage with all other areas of the business

Business analysis

• Use SQL to obtain data from the Data Warehouse
• Analyse the data to answer business questions and solve problems

Project management

Ensure delivery on all projects as instructed by the Manager and Director

Requirements

A numerate degree e.g. BCom, B Bus Sci, B Eng, BSc

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 4 years experience as an analyst in the credit risk environment
• Proven experience with scorecards, analytics and portfolio modelling
• Advanced computer literacy skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel and SQL
• The ability to integrate and interpret numerical and statistical information
• Project management experience is essential
