Key Accountabilities

• Warehouse/Co-packer development/Audit support
• Manage Business Driven complaints
• Review and identify evolving issues through regular monitoring of the complaints data. Evaluate regular key issues and in conjunctions with the relevant functions drives appropriate corrective actions are in place to correct the issues and prevent from re-occurring.
• Provide quality support for imports/exports program ensuring food safety and quality compliance of internal/external facilities against Mondelez quality expectations.
• Drives continuous improvement for all quality aspects related to Commercial activities;
• Identify the improvement needs and drive implementation of quality building programs thus improving quality and reducing costs.
• Premium and Promotions / Support ECommerce from a Quality perspective
• Retail Quality Assessments
• SS management support provide support for Special Situations/emerging issues relating to quality

Key Performance Areas include;

• Third Party Warehouse/Copacker Audtis
• Customer Complaints management
• Customer Development (Quality)
• Retail Quality Assessments
• Acts as a quality link between local BU/Category, other BUs, R&D, plants and Corporate Quality functions.
• Acts as a contact and coordinator for Corporate Quality Audits of the BU

Key Dimensions

• Pass the BV Audits. Following up issues raised through Internal/External audits and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented and followed through.
• Continuous improvement programs in place to ensure quality issues are addressed and complaint reductions targets achieved. Focus on Co-packer and Import complaints.
• Quality building programs with the trade (freshness, trade returns, unsalable, quality yield initiative)
• In conjunction with management identify the scope and process to complete Retail Assessments to monitor product quality at the store shelf. Drives implementation of a system. Review results and implement corrective actions to meet learning's. Target reductions on defect findings.
• Building sound relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally i.e. collaborate with Customers, Distributors, 3PL’s, Co-packers, Audit Agencies for Quality improvements. Acts as a contact and coordinator for Corporate Quality/3rd party Audits of the BU and Quality link between local BU stakeholders (CSL, PCM, Marketing, Procurement, Sales), other related BUs, R&D, plants and Corporate Quality functions

Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that the ideal candidate will have:

• Sound product safety knowledge / food technology degree across product portfolio. Auditing experience
• Min. 5- 7 years in food industry & Quality
• Basic CS&L/Supply Chain knowledge/exposure
• Strong working knowledge of Mondelez QCMS, SQE, CPQR and HACCP (or equivalent) standards.
• Storage conditions/Distribution
• Good warehousing practices
• Communication Skills
