To collaborate at an Interbank level to define the approach to testing and produce the resultant test plans
To oversee the monitoring of the detailed testing process and evaluate the overall result quality for hardware and software in each release before inclusion in production.
Manage the Regression risk of parallel non-card payment stream products
Responsible for the daily management, coaching, mentoring of and task allocation to testing resources for Interbank Testing
To collaborate with the Software Architects and Business Analysts to define test scenarios
To prepare, participate in, and oversee the execution of test cases within a feature team
To participate in the validation of functional and non-functional test requirements
To participate in the provisioning of test data in terms of input and expected outcome data
To participate in the provisioning of required test environments
Requirements:
Grade 12 with Mathematics with recognised Software Testing Qualification (i.e. ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) offered by the International Software Testing Qualification Board)
SQL Query Language Experience OR Relevant tertiary qualification or degree (Computer Science)
2 – 3 years proven experience in Interbank payment system testing
Knowledge and skills:
Understanding the full Systems Development Project Lifecycle (SDLC)
Best practice in software and hardware testing
Agile software methodology (SCRUM and KanBan)
Non-card Interbank Payment systems (EFT, EDO, SWIFT, RTC, AC)
