    External Sales Representative

    Job description

    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS (Skills and Experience)

    • Instrumentation trade test or Diploma
    • Minimum 5 years’ external Sales experience selling process instrumentation products
    • Strong experience selling into the mines
    • Must be able to speak Afrikaans fluently
    • Ability to provide sales achievements for the past 12 months

    JOB DESCRIPTION (Tasks and Responsibilities)

    • Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Maintain solid existing client relationships
    • Develop new business into the Mining sector and Power Contractors
    • Maintain and develop existing and new customers
    • Monitor and report on sales activities

    Key customer management

    • Plan and carry out sales activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix, and timescales
    • Develop ideas and create offers for sales and marketing to all accounts
    • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys
