BASIC SALARY: R221 786 – R244 756 P.A

Requirements:

• Trade test certificate – Diesel Mechanic
• Code C or EC drivers licence
• 3 - 5 year post apprentice experience

Key Performance Areas:

• Co-ordinates activities and sequences with specific functional areas such as vehicle    mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Testing vehicle systems, components and isolate faults by using diagnostic and other testing devices.
• Performing planned servicing and maintenance of vehicles plant and equipment by using appropriate service checklists,
• Testing plant, vehicles and equipment to assess operating functionality and safety.
• Co-ordinates activities and sequences associated with trouble shooting/fault finding and repairing.
• Attending to field services including recovery of plant and vehicles
• Providing guidelines and specific instructions to personnel with respect to the preparation of work for major/minor works
• Completes internal transactional documentation (eg, timesheets, log sheets, progress and productivity reports and related forms.
• Supervise, train and discipline Apprentices, Maintenance Assistants, Trade Workers, Handymen and other staff by mentoring, guiding. Coaching and enforcing general discipline, application codes of practice to enable the division
