Key Purpose of the role

The CIO of Discovery Employee Benefits is looking to recruit an Executive Associate (EA) who will work closely with him and other members of the Employee Benefits Executive Team. Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following broad job functions:

• Assist with setting objectives and strategies for the department.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing projects.
• Access and analyse information to produce reports for EXCO meetings.
• Analyse and report on performance trends of internal systems.
• Assist with strategic systems planning in accordance with business strategy.
• Research and report on industry trends and latest technology
• Liaise with Corporate governance to ensure alignment with corporate goals.
• Facilitate internal audit interactions.
• Have oversight of project schedule priorities and project management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant IT honors degree and MBA (in progress or completed) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a preference for systems/project management experience.
• Minimum 5 year experience in Employee Benefits and  Life Insurance industries
