The Internal Project Management Assistant is an entry level position working under the Internal Project Manager on the development of project proposals, executing timelines and schedules, liaising with all suppliers, clients and our internal team securing the delivery of every project on time, within budget and scope.
Requirements:
Assisting the Internal Project Manager as follows:
- Act as a point of contact for the various internal and external stakeholders
- Track and control various team work tasks, taking ownership for all the responsibilities and ensuring effective and efficient coordination of various events
- Facilitate and scheduling of conference calls and meetings
- Development and coordination of all post event reports
- Managing portfolios of work ranging from small to medium project roll-outs
- Draft and communicate meeting minutes when required
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
- Manage and maintain client relationships
Key Abilities Required
- Effective communicator - telephonically and by e-mail
- Self-starter who is proactive and adaptable
- Excellent planning, co-ordination and problem solving skills
- Must be able to work in isolation as well as with a team
- Detail orientated
- Fast learner who is able to understand systems easily
- Willingness to work over-time when necessary
- Negotiating and communication skills
Key Requirements
- University degree
- Excellent IT skills, MS products, MS Office suite
- Minimum 2 years coordination experience
- Applicant must be based in Johannesburg
- Must have own car
Salary Expectation: R 6 000 – R 10 000 per month (will be confirmed after interview)
