    Retail Sales Manager

    Job description

    We are currently seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager responsible for managing Kaspersky’s retail partners in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for developing the channel, managing the engagement process from beginning to the end. The job holder will also provide market information to the marketing team and assist in the creation of effective marketing ideas and business development plans.

    The key responsibilities of this role are:

    • Search and discover the new business opportunities for the consumer business
    • Establish a strong business relationship with partners
    • Lead the day to day ongoing relationship of retail partners, including sales management, promotion, inventory management, and issue avoidance and resolution
    • Negotiate a promotional calendar and measure and review ROI
    • Monitor financial performance and revenue profit targets
    • Develop and maintain relationships at head office and in the field with franchisees and store owners, demonstrating how the Kaspersky's branded range of products can drive business profitability for select partners
    • Be responsible for negotiating trading terms, budgets and co-operative marketing plans
    • Be involved in the deployment of new offerings, brand and product marketing campaigns
    • Be accountable for achieving objectives and managing promotional activities to maximize ROI
    • Build awareness and inspire retail partner staff to promote Kaspersky products
    • Management of key retailing stakeholders to execute in store programs
    • Manage the in Store POS, major shop display and promotional activation
    • Develop the business strategies and business plans through investigating the industry trends & competition and evaluating the effectiveness of the sales, methods, costs and results
    • Participate and represent Kaspersky Lab in different workshops, trade shows and seminars to promote Kaspersky
    • Identify the marketing strategy with the marketing team and incorporate them into the business plan
    • Field/in-store coaching for all floor sales team

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • To be successful in this role, you will have:
    • 3 years or above experience selling software to large retailers
    • Proven experience in influencing and negotiating whilst building a strong relationship
    • Good presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
    • Highly motivated with strong level of initiative, energy and enthusiasm
    • Proactive, flexible, self-motivated with ability to work under tight deadlines
    • A good team player
    • Superior business management, planning and sales skills
