    Junior Commercial Pricing Specialist

    About the role:
    To provide pricing support to various business units which include but are not limited to:

    • Maintain existing Facilities Management Commercial models based on best practice methodologies and benchmarking exercises that would benefit competitive advantage
    • Actively support with new ideas and innovation to ensure a robust pricing methodology for new and existing deals
    • Take full responsibility for pricing of assigned new and existing opportunities in consultation with the Sales Team
    • Understand the concept of Facilities Management and pricing associated with both Hard and Soft Services
    • Good understanding and interpretation of Facilities Management services
    • Liaise and manage the process with internal Procurement Teams to obtain quotations for pricing inputs where relevant
    • Present Commercial pricing, pricing approach and risk factors to the Pricing Committee for formal pricing approvals
    • Be part of a Sales Team who embrace the Company values and culture of the business
    • Decision making authority 
    • Decisions are based on knowledge of theory and systems. Required to choose from a limited array of routines or rules at his/her disposal. Works within specific prescribed policies and guidelines which includes
    • Pricing evaluation and Service Provider engagements to ensure price validation.
    • Cost allocations in commercial models and pricing submissions pending formal approvals 
    • Solutions and pricing to comply with internal processes and procedures, governance structures and statutory requirements

    • Workable technical knowledge and commercial principles
    • Workable knowledge ofstatutory requirement Exceptional knowledge of cost modelling as well as administrative principles and reporting

    Human Resources Manager

    Main purpose / objective of the position:    

    • The HR Manager will drive the HR Business Partnership with stakeholders across South Africa.
    • Successful incumbent must have proven track record in HR management end to end 
    • Ensure that comprehensive Human Resources skills complement and enhance the existing Employee Relations (ER) functions within the business unit.
    • The HRM will implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business goals and will serve as a HR Business Partner to workforce teams in relation to HR-related matters

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive key HR delivery in relation to talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement.
    • Drive People Plan within area of responsibility and ensure alignment to business plan/s.
    • Ensure a cohesive approach to employee relations and compliance with labour regulations, to ensure a seamless integration of HR functions and to support the overall objectives of the organisation.
    • Conduct an organisational assessment to determine the current state of HR-related functions and identify areas for development.
    • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with the company’s vision, mission, and values.
    • Work closely with internal business partners to develop a talent pipeline as well as accountable for the overall recruitment process, including job descriptions, talent sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Implement a performance management system that drives high performance and supports career development.
    • Work closely with internal business partners to develop a training and development programme to address current and future skills gaps.
    • Implement a compensation strategy that is competitive and fair, aligning with the company’s financial capabilities and strategic objectives.
    • Advise and support managers in HR-related decision making and serve as a mediator in resolving workplace conflicts.
    • Ensure statutory compliance throughout the HR department and stay updated on changes in relevant legislation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

    Experience and Skills

    • Proficiency in English is a non-negotiable requirement of this vacancy
    • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, with experience in setting up an HR department 
    • Strong understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures within various regions in South Africa
    • Proficient in HR software, e.g. Sage People and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

    Audio Visual Assistant

    About the role:

    • Responsible for Audio Visual support in the Training Centre and Auditorium. Responsible for the preparation of rooms in the Training Centre according to requests from clients. Provide a service to the client between the following alternating working hours (7h00 – 16h00 and 8h00 – 17h00)

    What will you bring: 

    • Grade 12
    • Knowledge and experience of Sound Equipment.
    • Knowledge and experience of Audio equipment and visual equipment

    Skills required:

    • Audio visual technical skills
    • Computer literacy (MS Office) and booking system

    Knowledge required:

    • Technical knowledge of the different equipment utilized in the Training Centre and Auditorium.
    • Knowledge of layout of rooms.
    • Knowledge of the booking system and MS Office

    What will you be doing:

    Audio Visual Support:

    • Provide Audio Visual support/advice in CR Louw Auditorium and Training rooms and other areas as requested.
    • Arrange and test audio visual equipment beforehand.
    • Ensure the set-up of the required audio-visual equipment as requested by the client.
    • Ensure the preparation of rooms according to clients’ requests.
    • Make sure that rooms are tidy and clean.
    • Assist with the supplying of water in rooms.
    • Handle complaints about equipment and rooms according to the Training Centre’s Service level agreement.

    Maintenance of Audio Visual equipment:

    • Ensure that all audio visual equipment is in working condition.
    • Report all faulty equipment to the Business Support Coordinator.
    • Basic repair of equipment in store.
    • Safe storage of equipment in relevant stores and in training venue.
    • Ensure that all equipment is returned to the Technical Store and that no equipment is left unattended in rooms.
    • Ensure the handling of equipment according to guidelines in the manual.
    • Ensure the safekeeping of equipment at all times.
    • Organise the servicing of equipment when required.
    • Contact suppliers about service deliveries, better process for equipment and the delivering of equipment on time.
