Vendor/Operations Manager at three6five Network Technologies (Pty) Ltd

Job Description

Vendor Management:

•  Negotiate operational, provisioning and assurance requirements within the ambit of existing contractual commitments.
•  Accountable for the operational performance of service providers and 3rd Party vendors appointed by Enterprise Technology.
•  Define with guidance from ENS team, Operational Level Agreements (OLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for all vendors.
•  Meet with providers and vendors regularly ensuring OLA/SLA/KPI compliance.
•  Interact with finance department regarding credits or rebates from vendor based on SLA breaches.
•  Manage all escalations between Enterprise Technology and the providers ensuring appropriate outcomes within acceptable timeframes according to OLA/SLA/KPI.
•  Process capacity changes, manage cancellation of circuits, etc., ensuring Supply Chain process is followed, PO’s are arranged, signed off etc.
•  Ability to deal with vendors both locally and international, often without face to face engagment.

Financial Aspect

•  Monthly update as input into budgets, Product Management, OPCO briefings and planning/projects
•  Keep record of and maintain all Core Capacity Costings.
•  Management of ENS Purchase Order Process from inception to end.
•  Validate and authorize supplier invoices, query any differences etc.
•  Arranging and Managing of the Renewal of Agreements e.g. Telehouse, MainOne, including PO process.

Administration

•  Presentation preperation - MD Report, OPCO Meetings or as required. Ability to draw information from multiple sources and consolidate into meaningful data for presentation to management.

Business Analytics

•  Improve/define processes for handover of incubated
•  products to other support team verticals within business.

•  implementing new operation processes within the organisation.

Project Management

•  Ability to complete special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
•  Applying project standards and project methodologies.

Experience

• Previous experience working for an Internet service provider or telecommunications company in a similar role.
