    Consumer Insights Manager

    Job Description

    We are currently seeking a Shopper Insight - Capability Manager to join our team. The role involves leading a solutions team to deliver brilliant client work that drives customer loyalty, sales and manufacturer collaboration, as well as shaping the insight journey. The role involves creating plans to match the solution to the client, story-telling using data and insight; and data analysis and modelling.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •  Contribute to the solution capability by championing innovations or global best practise application to create value generation for the client and their customers.
    •  Develop and deliver the capability work plan, championing the power of customer insight. Collaboration internally to deploy the best practise from GCL and Solutions to the work plan.
    •  Ensure deliverables and impacts are measured and the commercial or strategic impact communicated.
    •  Lead client deliverables with credibility and experience in order to demonstrate the value and expertise dunnhumby can bring to the client’s business.
    •  Develop working relationships with client contacts to ensure the relevance, timeliness and quality of dunnhumby deliveries.
    •  Facilitate change in the solution process; capability and technology use e.g. apply technical and organisational knowledge to identify improvement opportunities/efficiencies.
    •  Manage and support a small team to build their technical capability by initiating coaching and training ensuring that they feel engaged and motivated.

    Experience/Skills:

    • This role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
    • The role relies on high levels of knowledge with data interpretation and visualisation, insight analysis, market research, solution design & development and the ability to build loyal relationships with colleagues and our clients and partners. For this role, project management skills, stakeholder management skills and knowledge of Price & Promotion Strategy are useful.
