Job description
Opportunity for a CFA level 1/ B.Com + articles applicant to enter into a role as a Portfolio Manager to manage a portfolio of investments for a company which focuses on providing finance, strategic advise and ensuring the growth of SME's. Candidates must have experience working in a similar capacity and be knowledgeable about the SME space.
Duties include:
Building relationships, managing and growing a loan portfolio with established SME businesses by providing debt and advisory solutions, motivate loan finance based investments to investment/ credit committee for final investment approval, constant liason with the SME to ensure that advisory actions are implemented.
Please note that this role does not require the sourcing of new clients.
The succesful candidate eventually lead their own Portfolio comprising support staff and candidate portfolio managers.
